Simple Comparison of the Asmodus Anani V1 and V2 Vape Atomizers: Is the Upgrade Better?

The ANANI atomizer from ASMODUS received mixed reactions from users after its earlier release. The non-adjustable airflow and lackluster flavor experience were not particularly rich or enjoyable, resembling a half-finished product that, aside from its decent appearance, lacked competitiveness.

It is unclear whether ASMODUS recognized this or if sales were poor, but within a relatively short period, they launched the ANANI V2 version. Since it is an upgraded product, a comparison is necessary.

In terms of accessories, the V2 version features different specifications for the pre-made coils and includes a 510-sized long drip tip.

Aside from the differences in the upper and lower parts, the V2 version's size has changed from 24mm in the V1 to 22mm in the V2. Which do you think looks better?

Both versions have only two components when the top is disassembled, but the V2 version has switched to a metal top cover. Here, we can see that the central hole of the V1's drip tip is extremely small, likely intended to create a tighter airflow for a richer flavor, but in reality, it results in a very constricted experience, which does not match the airflow design, leading to severe condensation issues. The V2 version's PEI short and long drip tips have larger central holes than the V1, making even a dry puff much more comfortable.

The tank body has not changed much aside from the size, but the V2 version has added a stepped transition in the internal airflow path to effectively prevent condensation.

Regarding airflow, the V1 version is non-adjustable, and while the hole appears large, the actual airflow is quite small. The V2 version has changed to a combination of a small hole and a narrow slot, providing a slightly better adjustment range, although still not extensive, it is a significant improvement over the unreasonable design of the V1.

While the design of the electrode platform has not changed much, the width of the electrodes in the V2 version has been reduced, and the slots extend inward longer, indicating that it cannot accommodate multiple wraps of wire.

From this angle, we can see multiple airflow holes in the center, with the V2 version being slightly smaller.

When installing the coil, aside from the previously mentioned limitation on the number of wraps, it also requires reverse-wrapping the wire for optimal use; otherwise, it will look like the image above.

Considering all these changes, the V2 version's airflow appears more reasonable, genuinely enhancing the flavor experience with a "tightness" rather than the constricted experience produced by the V1's hard compression.

When using the PEI short drip tip, the airflow will be slightly larger than with the long drip tip, making it more suitable for lower resistance setups; the long drip tip, however, shows significant advantages in daily situations and with traditional A1 wire, as the longer airflow path allows for a smoother transition of vapor, resulting in better and richer flavor, making it the recommended choice for daily use.

In summary, while the electrode platform design of the ANANI V2 version narrows the range of coil options, the overall structural logic is vastly improved compared to the V1 version, achieving a first-tier atomization effect. For users who are indecisive, the V2 version is undoubtedly the best choice.
