MOTI 2nd Gen S·LITE Review: What Are the Pros and Cons?
The reason for this supplementary review is that during use, I discovered some issues that did not completely align with my previous review, as well as some details that were not clearly presented in the previous post.
So I felt it necessary to write this, mainly because I also enjoy writing, haha.
Oil Leakage and Condensation
In my previous post, I mentioned that after using 8 pods, I had not encountered any oil leakage. Unfortunately, just this afternoon, while I was enjoying the refreshing taste brought by the Coca-Cola flavor, I unexpectedly inhaled a small amount of e-liquid.
Interestingly, the flavor of the MOTI S Lite pod is not as intense as that of RELX; it has a cool, slightly tingling sweetness, and for a moment, I thought the flavor was quite nice.
Haha, but let's stop there; inhaling e-liquid is never a good thing. So I recalled my actions at that moment: I was at my computer desk, working while using it, and the frequency of picking it up and putting it down was quite high, and the puff that led to inhaling the liquid seemed to have been at an upward angle.
I don't know if this is the reason, but I always recommend that friends maintain a downward angle during use; drawing at an upward angle does pose a risk of leakage from a theoretical standpoint. V:13322099224
Correct Usage Angle

Incorrect Usage Angle

I mentioned in my previous post that after using about two pods, e-liquid or condensation would accumulate at the magnetic suction port, requiring regular cleaning and maintenance. However, today I found that after using one pod, the liquid accumulation issue was relatively severe, which is something friends should pay attention to:

This is something I did not mention in my previous post. The MOTI S Lite pod installation uses a dual insurance system of magnetic and snap-fit. When inserting the pod into the magnetic port, it will first be attracted but not securely held; a slight bump can cause it to fall out, and it can still be used in this state. To secure it firmly, you need to press down harder, at which point the snap-fit mechanism locks the pod in place. It can be said to be very secure, even making it somewhat difficult to remove. I don't understand why it has to be so tight; it can be quite annoying. V:13322099224
Power Mode
In my previous post, I only briefly mentioned the switching method for the power mode: quickly inserting and removing the pod four times within 10 seconds, with the indicator light changing color and a long vibration indicating successful switching. Today, I want to add that this operation method is somewhat silly; don’t be fooled by the video into thinking it’s simple and cool. First, the MOTI S Lite magnetic insertion port is relatively shallow. During the insertion and removal process, it is easy to completely detach and misalign, so you have to pay attention while doing it, and you need to time it to meet the required number of times, which can feel a bit frantic and not very elegant or cool, right? Of course, it could just be me being clumsy.
