The issue of e-liquid leakage and condensation in pods has always been a top priority for brands to address. Users' demands for pods are not only reflected in enhancing the restoration of e-liquid flavors but also in the reasonable improvement of leakage and condensation issues. On July 28, 2019, the vitavp brand held a launch event for its new 2.0 version in Shenzhen, claiming to reduce the leakage rate of pods to "one in 100,000."

So how did vitavp almost completely solve the leakage problem? After disassembling one of the pods, I discovered the secret behind it.

The pod consists of six components, and its outer shell is made of food-grade materials, ensuring higher safety performance. The top, which appears to be a detachable design, actually utilizes a 20mm inverted cone-shaped short airflow path, effectively reducing the occurrence of condensation liquid at the entrance. The simplified integrated silicone components are technically superior compared to ordinary brand products, and their sealing and stability have also significantly improved.

Returning to basics, the vitavp 2.0 pod abandons the commonly used ceramic atomizer technology and instead adopts a cotton atomizer core that restores flavor better, paired with a specially wound heating wire. The horizontally positioned atomizer core heats evenly, providing a more accurate restoration effect. The cotton used in the atomizer core is sourced from top-quality Pima organic cotton from Arizona, USA, which is about 40% stronger and longer than ordinary cotton, locking in more e-liquid, with better burn resistance and fuller vapor. Remarkably, after being left for a long time, it does not exhibit an increase in leakage when inhaled again, which is something most cotton-core pods cannot achieve!

The locking component of the pod's outer shell is not exposed but hidden. This serves to prevent leakage and condensation; it also prevents users from rebuilding the atomizer core, which could lead to a poor flavor experience; and it complements the inverted T-shaped design concept, better restoring the flavor of the e-liquid and ensuring thorough atomization of the internal e-liquid.

Oolong Peach:

The soft and alluring essence of peach flavor, with a balanced sweetness and fragrance. The oolong tea aroma, which has a hint of bitterness from tea polyphenols, is accompanied by a light aftertaste of tea art, making it a perfect match of fresh fruit and tea aroma.

Berry Lemon:

This green bean flavor pod combines the sandy texture of green bean ice and the soft and chewy sensation of green bean cake, with a clear layering, yet a unified restoration effect. A slight coolness is mixed in, making the overall experience quite comfortable.
