How Much Is the RELX 5th Generation? How Good Is the RELX Phantom?
The packaging of the new fifth-generation Phantom is basically the same as the fourth generation Infinite, featuring a single device kit without included e-liquid pods, just the device itself and a charging cable for dust collection.

The drawer-style structure adds a bit of ceremony to the simple packaging. After all, it costs ¥268 (the instruction manual has been removed for photography purposes). Flipping the device over reveals a noticeable difference in the logo craftsmanship between the fifth and fourth generations, ensuring that users can easily recognize the four letters. (Since it’s so extravagant, I suggest printing the Chinese characters along with Pinyin next time, otherwise many people still call it "Rui Ke")

The graphite black of the fifth generation is indeed understated and profound, paired with the pure black pods of the fourth generation, creating a very comfortable and unified visual experience. (The pod shown in the picture is the fourth generation cola pod, which fits perfectly, and can be inserted either way, unlike the first generation pods that required orientation.) The fifth generation was mocked for its indicator light resembling an old phone from a domestic brand, but after using it a few times, I found it to be well-designed, with a sophisticated control of the light's dimming effect (it took nearly a year to achieve this level of quality).
Below, I will focus on answering several questions that friends are concerned about.
Does it support wireless charging?
Answer: No, it only supports charging via a Type-C cable. If you are selling your second-hand fourth generation device, don’t forget to include the infinite charging case.
Does it support Bluetooth?
Answer: No, currently only the third generation Lingdian supports Bluetooth connectivity.
What is the price? Are the pods compatible with the fourth generation?
Answer: The single device kit is ¥268. The pods are ¥99/box (3 pieces), currently all using ceramic cores. They are fully compatible with the fourth generation pods, and the pods from the fourth and fifth generations can be used interchangeably.
How is the flavor of the pods?
Answer: Both the fourth and fifth generations use SuperSmooth technology, ensuring excellent flavor and reasonable vapor control, with a quick response. In terms of airflow resistance, the fifth generation has slightly more resistance than the fourth generation, meaning it requires less effort to produce sufficient vapor. Long-time users know that when airflow resistance is insufficient, they can increase vapor production by "covering one side of the airflow hole," but the fifth generation eliminates this hassle.
Is it worth getting?
Answer: If you do not have a strong need for wireless charging, I highly recommend the fifth generation. Firstly, the price is the same as the fourth generation, so there’s no reason to buy the fourth generation just to save money (for those who say, "the fourth generation is only sold for xxx there," be aware that counterfeit fifth generations have already entered the market, so be cautious). Based on my two-day experience, although the battery capacity hasn’t increased, the energy consumption seems to be better controlled. When unboxing, it was fully charged, and after a day and a half of use, it still had two bars left, which is quite impressive. Most importantly, because I can clearly see that it "still has two bars of battery," I don’t have to worry about whether I need to find a charger after the next puff.
Since it is compatible with fourth generation pods, the fifth generation Phantom theoretically has over a dozen flavors available. It’s quite difficult for regular users to get tired of the flavors, and with excellent anti-leak technology, there are hardly any frustrating issues during use, which is something other manufacturers need to work on.
After all, as the leading domestic brand, the annual updates are worthy of the title of "new flagship."
The only complaint is... can we quickly release a few new flavors? It’s frustrating to see that when the fourth generation released new flavors, they just rehashed the flavors from the first generation, and now with the fifth generation, they are re-releasing flavors from the fourth generation.
