Q&A: Common Issues When Using High-Vapor Vaping Devices
Every day, I receive messages and questions from everyone, so I decided to compile a list of common issues that people have been encountering lately. Each of you can find what you need and address your concerns.
After all, there aren't many hobbies, and despite the challenges, we still maintain our attitude towards vaping.
Additionally, the "Common Issues" section in the WeChat "Product Zone" module lists problems that may arise during use in detail, which you can also check out.

1. Q: Why does my e-cigarette taste burnt?
A: The atomizer coil is burnt out and needs to be replaced. Before using a new coil, make sure to saturate the cotton with e-liquid or let it sit for 10-15 minutes after adding e-liquid to allow the cotton to fully absorb it; otherwise, it will burn out. Additionally, the initial wattage should not be too high. Although the coil has been pre-soaked, the cotton may not have fully absorbed the e-liquid, leaving some dry spots. If you start with a high wattage, it can easily burn the cotton. Generally, start with the minimum wattage indicated on the coil, and once you feel the vapor is normal and there are no off-flavors, gradually increase the wattage.
2. Q: My vape pen hasn't been used for six months, and now it lights up white when charging but doesn't charge, and the light goes out after a while. Why is that?
A: The vape pen itself also consumes power. If it has been left uncharged for too long and the battery voltage drops below 3.3 volts, it won't work due to insufficient voltage. So, when not in use, make sure to charge the vape pen periodically.
3. Q: How can I tell when to replace the atomizer coil?
A: The atomizer coil will accumulate carbon during use, leading to increased resistance and reduced wicking ability of the cotton, ultimately rendering the coil unusable. Under normal usage, coils should be replaced every 7-10 days, depending on usage frequency and e-liquid type. If the flavor of the e-liquid tastes different from before and has a burnt taste, it indicates that the coil needs to be replaced. Additionally, check the resistance value; if the resistance value on the device differs from when it was newly replaced (usually an increase), it also indicates that the coil needs to be replaced.
4. Q: Why does my vape pen get hot?
A: Frequent use or insufficient e-liquid can cause the device to heat up. Since e-cigarettes use a heating coil to vaporize e-liquid, the center temperature can exceed 300 degrees Celsius. The atomizer has a multi-level heat insulation structure, but excessive use or low e-liquid levels can accumulate heat, making the vape pen feel warm. Use it like you would a traditional cigarette, and the mouthpiece generally won't feel noticeably hot. Additionally, in high ambient temperatures, it may also feel warm, so try to reduce usage in overheated environments.
5. Q: Can I bring my e-cigarette on a plane?
A: Yes, e-cigarettes can be taken on planes, but devices with batteries must be carried on and cannot be checked in. Domestic flights prohibit checking in devices containing batteries. Batteries must be carried on, preferably in a battery case, as domestic flights have strict requirements for batteries. E-liquids are best checked in, as carrying them poses risks, and there are strict regulations regarding carrying liquids on domestic flights.
