Differences between RELX 5th and 4th generation
The differences between the RELX 5th generation and 4th generation start with the appearance. The 5th generation uses a new rectangular pod design, which feels more comfortable and looks better than the previous generation devices.
Another difference between the RELX 5th and 4th generation is the rigidity of the device body. The 5th generation has noticeably improved shell strength compared with the 4th generation. The 5th generation charging port is located at the bottom and is much better reinforced than the 4th generation. I believe many RELX 4 users who do not use protective sleeves have encountered deformation issues with the 4th generation charging port.
The device has one airflow hole on each side near the lower section, plus several airflow holes on the sides and near the bottom of the upper body section. According to the official introduction, the airflow holes on both sides of the upper body are designed to help prevent leakage and condensation. I have not personally noticed much difference in actual use.
In terms of vaporization performance, the 5th generation device has higher power than the 4th generation. It produces more vapor, offers lower draw resistance, and delivers a lighter throat hit. This also means the 5th generation consumes e-liquid faster, and its craving satisfaction may feel weaker than the 4th generation. There is no official power data available. These impressions are based on my own three-day test experience.
As for battery life, the 5th generation is stronger. The 4th generation can generally last two days per charge without a problem, but in daily use I do not feel a major difference. In terms of pod flavor, the 5th generation pods taste smoother and more refined. Some flavors, such as mung bean, feel better than before, with improved flavor accuracy and overall taste.
How about the new strawberry flavor? In one sentence: it is like an enhanced version of watermelon. Smokers who enjoy a cool and sweet taste should like it. The aroma in the room is excellent.
