Review of the Minimalist Refillable Vaping Device “Lightning X” by Lion Vape
This review features a minimalist refillable vaping device called "Lightning X" from Lion Vape. This is my first encounter with this brand, and upon receiving the device, it reminded me of the old "Mad Dog X" from years ago; it looks like a smaller version of the Mad Dog X, bringing back many memories. I believe its performance will be just as excellent as expected.

Upon opening the package, the configuration is clear: one device, one pod, one lanyard, and one charging cable. The device feels good in hand and has a decent weight. The USB-C port is located at the bottom, which also serves as the air intake, with no other air intake ports on the body. The indicator light is a lightning bolt symbol, echoing its name "Lightning X," and the back features the Lion Vape logo, indicating the manufacturer.

In terms of specifications, the device has a 900mAh battery and comes with a 1.4-ohm mesh coil pod with a capacity of 2ml. The draw is tight, suitable for mouth-to-lung vaping, producing smooth and comfortable vapor without any leakage. After using one pod, some condensation may appear in the electrode slot, which can be easily cleaned with a cotton swab.

The 1.4-ohm coil is clearly designed for nicotine salt, and I added a flavor called "Peach Oolong" which replicates the sweet and sour taste of peach very well. The richness, sweetness, and coolness are all kept within an acceptable range, not overly sweet. It is worth mentioning that the Nautilus pod system just released a 1.2-ohm coil pod, and after comparison, both perform almost identically, with the Nautilus 1.2 offering slightly more coolness. I also tried a B-flavored nicotine salt, which also replicated the dessert flavor well without being overly sweet, providing a great throat hit.

The Lightning X does not specify its output power, but for such a convenient nicotine salt device, this is not a concern. Just fill it up and use it; it is very user-friendly for beginners. Friends interested in trying it can do so with confidence. Thank you for watching, and see you next time.
