What is e-cigarette leaking?

Leaking means e-liquid escapes through abnormal channels, such as from the outside of the atomizer tank glass, the base of the atomizer, or the outside of the mouthpiece. If a small amount of liquid occasionally gets into the mouth from inside the mouthpiece, this is generally not considered leaking. It is usually condensed droplets formed from accumulated vapor.

How to solve “e-cigarette leaking”

In general, so-called leaking or getting e-liquid in the mouth is often not actual leaking, but rather a misunderstanding caused by unfamiliarity with the device or improper operation.

It is usually caused by the following 5 situations. Vaping devices are different from traditional cigarettes, so correct usage is important. (If you only occasionally get a little e-liquid in your mouth, this is within the normal range. All vaping devices can have some vapor condensation residue. You only need to flick out the residual liquid from the mouthpiece, then twist a tissue into a small strip, insert it into the mouthpiece, and rotate it to wipe it clean.)

1. During use, the correct vaping position is to keep the battery end tilted downward. Do not raise it upward while puffing!

2. The ideal e-liquid fill level is 1.3ML, and it should not exceed 1.6ML at most (there are markings on the atomizer tank).

3. If the above methods are not the issue, replacing the coil can solve it. The reason is that some coils have wick material that is too thin, causing the e-liquid to feed too quickly. Just replace it.

4. The e-liquid filling method may have been incorrect from start to finish because the filling instructions were not read at all.

5. Finally, there is another situation: when some people unscrew the battery section, they do not hold the metal threaded part in the middle of the device. Instead, they grip the glass tank of the atomizer and twist it, which loosens or separates the glass tank from the threaded section and leaves e-liquid all over their hands. Just tighten it properly.
