As an established manufacturer, the Petri brand may release products at a slow pace, but whenever a new product is launched, it certainly attracts the attention of many vaping enthusiasts.
Two years ago, Petri launched the AIO kit, and now, two years later, they have introduced a new product: AIO MINI.
The accessory package is quite similar to its older brother, the AIO, including a spare coil, TYPE-C charging cable, rubber rings, stickers, and a manual, all with that familiar feel.
Being the MINI version, its overall size is quite compact, as shown by the comparison with the nearby 18650 battery.
As for the craftsmanship and quality, does it need mentioning? Petri has never disappointed.
It still features the same magnetic dual-panel design, the same oil chamber, the same golden 510 drip tip, and the same fire button and adjustment button; everything has been carried over.
?
However, the new mini version comes with a flat black transparent drip tip, which is evidently better in terms of fit and appearance compared to the long PEI drip tip on the AIO.
Due to the significant reduction in size, the original design powered by an 18650 battery has been changed to use an 18350 battery. The hollow space between the two sides allows users to easily push the battery out with their fingers, eliminating the need for a battery pull string.
If you don't want to use Petri's coils, you can replace them with the independent accessories in the package to use the E-juice Nautilus coils.
The factory provides one each of 0.3Ω and 0.7Ω coils, and in addition, a 1.2Ω coil is available for purchase. This is consistent with previous offerings.
Since the 0.3Ω and 0.7Ω coils are provided at the factory, they work perfectly in the AIO, but given the actual usage of the 18350 battery, I strongly advise against using these two coils as daily drivers.
This is not to say that their flavor is poor or that there are any issues, but due to the limited battery capacity of the 18350, these two coils require high power to operate, meaning you will barely get a few puffs before needing to recharge. If you plan to use them as your main coils, you should prepare ten or eight batteries daily.#p#分页标题#e#
Therefore, this mini version is better suited for the 1.2Ω coil, which, while requiring a battery change every day or two, at least provides a normal experience.
Its flavor performance is not very sensitive to sweetness and can extract different layers of flavor from the e-liquid, which will definitely impress you. So it’s best to pair it with some complex flavored imported e-liquids.
Additionally, I want to mention a bug that has carried over from the AIO; the chip sometimes flashes red eight times and stops working, which may be due to low oil detection or some unknown issue. The solution is to install the battery, remove the oil chamber, and then press the adjustment button for three seconds until the indicator light flashes yellow, which will resolve the issue.
With two unusable coils and a small bug in the chip, is this product still appealing? Actually, this mini version has a higher quality feel due to its smaller size, and it meets market trends. Its craftsmanship, user experience, and flavor are all quite good. Moreover, Petri's pricing in the current market, around a hundred yuan, naturally targets a niche audience; those who cannot accept it will not look twice, but for those who appreciate it, the AIO MINI is still very appealing.
