Review Report: New Flavors for the GIPPRO GP6

Recently, I was browsing various brand public accounts and noticed that Longwu GIPPRO has released new flavors. Coincidentally, I hadn't been in touch with my friends at Longwu for a while, and during a casual chat, this supplementary review of the new flavors came about. The taste of their products left a deep impression on me at the last VEB Beijing exhibition (Review Report on Longwu GIPPRO GP6 Pod System Halo Collaboration), so I wanted to see how the flavors I hadn't tried yet perform.

Taste Restoration and Throat Hit:

The pods use a cotton core heating structure, providing a relatively high degree of taste restoration. Each pod has an e-liquid capacity of 2ml. The data is basically the same as previous pods.

Chilled Watermelon: Nicotine content is 3%, with a strong throat hit. The initial flavor is the refreshing scent of watermelon skin, followed by the sweet juiciness of watermelon juice in the mid to late palate. Fresh, fragrant, and sweet perfectly blend, leaving a scent reminiscent of Mirinda watermelon soda. The coolness is above average, and the sweetness is generally high, making it a great tool for cooling off in summer. 【Flavor Rating: 9/10】

Encountering Green Tea: Nicotine content is 3%, with a strong throat hit. This flavor clearly showcases Longwu's signature fragrance characteristics, maintaining the natural essence of the flavor while being rich. It is undoubtedly green tea, complemented by the elegance of jasmine, with a noticeable floral aroma lingering in the mouth. If there is a downside, it leans towards a green tea beverage, and continuous inhalation can diminish the fresh tea flavor due to the sweetness. Personally, I believe that tea flavors should minimize sweetness and focus on highlighting the taste of theobromine and herbal notes for a better experience. 【Flavor Rating: 8/10】

Sunshine Pineapple: Nicotine content is 3%, with a strong throat hit. The first puff is very refreshing, reminiscent of biting into a ripe pineapple, with the juice bursting in the mouth. The sweetness is a bit too high, feeling overly deliberate. I personally think that reducing the sweetness a bit and adding some acidity, along with the astringent sensation caused by pineapple protease, would bring it closer to the true flavor of pineapple. 【Flavor Rating: 7.5/10】

Overall Evaluation:

The overall fragrance of the flavors received this time is still excellent, but the sweetness has suddenly become particularly high, deviating a bit from the fresh style of Japanese fragrance, which surprised me. I observed that the oil delivery rate of the cotton core in the pods is somewhat slow, and after continuous inhalation, there is a slight cotton taste, which significantly affects the smoking experience. After communicating with the brand, I learned that the product department has noticed the issue and is working on improvements. I am quite confident about the performance of the improved pods. Due to their previous good performance, my expectations and requirements for Longwu products are relatively high, and I believe the new flavors still need some adjustments in detail. 【Overall Rating: 8/10】
