Review Report: Inmood Pod System
Appearance: 8/10
The packaging features a traditional top and bottom design, with decent internal resistance, and opens with a suitable damping feel.
The green kit received this time continues the Nordic minimalist style of Inmood's disposable vape.
The vape pen is made of 6063 aluminum alloy, with a surface oxidation laser engraving, providing a strong skin-friendly feel and comfortable grip.
The bottom of the pod combines magnetic suction and contact points for more stable connection. One improvement needed is that the new pod has a plastic sticker at the bottom, which is very close in color to the black material of the pod, making it easy to forget to remove it. It would be more user-friendly if different colors were used for different flavors.
Flavor Restoration and Throat Hit:
The kit comes with three pods: White Peach Oolong, Red Storm, and Mint Tobacco, each with an e-liquid capacity of 1.6ml, and the heating material is cotton core. Additionally, a box of passion fruit tea flavored pods was sent by the brand.
White Peach Oolong: 6/10
Nicotine content is 2% (20mg/ml), with a weak throat hit. The white peach flavor is superficial, lacking the freshness of the fruit. The oolong tea flavor is also not very natural, with a hint of bark flavor, missing the clarity of the tea leaves, making the overall inhalation experience less satisfying.
Red Storm: 6.5/10
Nicotine content is 2% (20mg/ml), with a weak throat hit. The flavor of the energy drink is accurately replicated, but the vapor is thin and lacks depth, making it quite hollow, which is disappointing.
Mint Tobacco: 5/10
Nicotine content is 3% (30mg/ml), with an average throat hit. The overall mint flavor is not well represented, serving more as a mild cooling aid. The understanding of tobacco is somewhat off, as it only tastes like tar without showcasing the plant's natural aroma, which is personally unacceptable.
Passion Fruit Tea: 8/10
Nicotine content is 3% (30mg/ml), with a weak throat hit. I find this flavor of Inmood's disposable vape quite enjoyable. The flavor of passion fruit is well controlled, showcasing the fruit's essence without being overly sweet, and the combination with tea is very refreshing, with a distinct tropical style. Unfortunately, the flavor is somewhat mild in the pod product.
Oil Leakage: 10/10
No leakage before unsealing the pod, and the bottom indicates the flavor information. I have not encountered any leakage from the bottom so far.
Condensate: 10/10
The correct inhalation posture is important; do not inhale while lying down or sideways, as this is common sense for using small vapes. The top of the pod is equipped with an oil-absorbing cotton, significantly reducing the occurrence of inhaling condensate. In actual tests, I did not encounter any situations where condensate was inhaled.
Oil Explosion: 10/10
Due to the use of cotton core, the first two puffs may produce a popping sound, but there is no oil explosion phenomenon.
Burnt Core: 10/10
No issues encountered during normal continuous inhalation.
Battery Life: 8/10
Battery capacity is 400mAh, using a Type-C charging interface.
Overall Rating: 6.5/10
I personally feel that the flavor of the pod system is generally mild, and the same flavor does not perform as well as the brand's disposable version. It feels like the power output is insufficient, and even after recharging, this issue persists. Additionally, the vapor volume is small, and I observed that the e-liquid is relatively thin, suspecting a low proportion of vegetable glycerin. The sensitivity of the mouthpiece is somewhat low; other brands can produce vapor with the same strength of inhalation, while this one requires a stronger pull to trigger atomization, making the overall experience somewhat disappointing.
