Hands-On Review of the New MONCK Replaceable Pod Device

Hello everyone, it's time for another product review. Today, I bring you a new replaceable pod vape, the MONCK蒙克+. Without further ado, let's unbox it and take a look.

This product adopts a pull-out minimalist style, and the overall design is quite simple, with the product logo on the front. I really like this packaging, which showcases a watercolor painting style, with colorful colors converging into a vape pen, giving a sense of creativity!

On the side, there are two small boxes, making the distinction clear, and each box is labeled with text and images for identification.

The back of the packaging has detailed product configuration and usage instructions, very thorough.

The independent compartment box inside the packaging continues the minimalist style of the outer box. Each small compartment box is also labeled with its type.

The vape pen is not the flat style commonly seen on the market but is designed in a cylindrical shape, giving it a more cigarette-like feel. The connection between the vape pen and the pod is threaded, which is quite traditional and classic, reminding me of the classic electronic cigarette shapes I used before, bringing back memories.

The internal compartment also uses a sponge base, providing stable placement, and I really like this pure black sponge base.

Perhaps the designer has a special affection for retro styles, as the charging method from earlier years has returned in this product. As seen in the image, there is a small airflow hole at the bottom of the vape pen, which helps concentrate the vapor during atomization. However, in practical use, carrying this dedicated charger every day can be a bit cumbersome. I hope the manufacturer can design a more convenient type-C mode for future products. However, I must say that this method is indeed quite novel, which may be the innovative style MONCK蒙克 pursues.

Screwing on the tobacco-flavored pod really gives a cigarette-like feeling. This reminds me of the MONCK蒙克's previously released disposable vape, the starry small round pen, which looks extremely similar, adopting a cigarette-like design. The advantage of this design is that it allows some smoking friends to have a psychological adaptation, and it is indeed very convenient for carrying and using outdoors. If I encounter friends using the same model, will we exchange cigarettes again?

This small vape has a battery capacity of 380mAh, a pod capacity of 2ML, and 5% nicotine salt. The packaging indicates approximately 600 puffs, equivalent to about 3 packs of cigarettes. In practice, I didn't keep a strict record of the exact puffs, but it lasted me 3 days without issue. The only downside is the retro charging method, where I have to unscrew the pod to charge it, which I'm not quite used to. Fortunately, the charging time is short, about 40 minutes to fully charge.

As for the flavors, there are four pods: mint, strawberry, tobacco, and lychee, which cater to popular tastes. Personally, I still prefer the mint and strawberry flavors.

Among the four flavors, the tobacco flavor does not immediately win you over, but the more you vape, the more you love it. I personally believe it is the closest to the taste of a real cigarette so far, purer than MT's original flavor and better than those buttery tobacco nicotine salts on the market. If you completely forget that you are holding an e-cigarette and close your eyes while taking a puff, it truly tastes like roasted tobacco.

The second flavor is sweet lychee, which has a decent vapor volume upon entry, with a slight coolness on the throat, and the exhaled lychee flavor is faintly sweet, overall not overwhelming, but still satisfying with continuous puffs.

Each pod also has a silicone cap with a small plug on top, which can be removed for vaping. This design may also be for hygiene considerations.

The third flavor is strawberry yogurt, which surprised me because I personally am not very willing to vape strawberry-flavored e-liquids. It's not that they are bad, but good strawberry flavors are rare, often too artificial. This pod has a well-represented strawberry flavor, with less artificial taste, and the strawberry flavor is rich, like biting into a fresh strawberry in your mouth, quite nice.

The last flavor is cool mint. How to describe it? It feels just like chewing on a strong mint gum, very refreshing, and the mint flavor is quite realistic. After several puffs, it doesn't become overwhelming, overall still quite good.

Additionally, the brand has listed a variety of flavors on the side of the packaging, with a total of 17 flavors available for selection. Previously, when reviewing MONCK蒙克's disposable vape, I genuinely liked their e-liquid quality, especially the ice latte and mung bean flavors, which left a deep impression. I believe that with so many flavor options for the replaceable pods, it will attract more users.

In any case, the MONCK蒙克+ small vape, with its classic cigarette-like design, although made of aluminum alloy and piano lacquer finish, feels comfortable in hand without being heavy. The battery capacity can meet a day's vaping needs. The charging and pod replacement method is a bit cumbersome, but fortunately, the flavor of the pods makes up for this shortcoming, which is quite satisfying.

This small vape's appearance can help the public recall the feeling of electronic cigarettes, and it can even be said that the design is quite realistic. For those who love the cigarette shape or want to quit smoking through e-cigarettes, this design may be more favored, making it easier to transition from smoking to vaping.

The quality of the four pod flavors is considered top-notch among pre-filled small vapes. Although everyone has different preferences, it is evident that a lot of thought has gone into it, and the attention to detail is commendable.
