These 5 common mistakes with vape mods—have you made any of them?

Among the various electronic cigarette output devices, adjustable wattage devices stand out for their excellent regulation capabilities and various protective features, making them one of the safest and most enjoyable types of electronic cigarette output devices. However, many users still make numerous oversights and operational errors when using adjustable devices, which can affect the user experience and even pose certain dangers.

1. Errors in battery selection

Currently, the highest output power of electronic cigarette devices requires batteries with sufficient discharge capacity. Using inferior batteries will prevent the device from achieving its normal output capability. For series devices, it is essential to use batteries of the same brand and model, and ensure that multiple batteries have equal voltage.

2. Errors in power adjustment

Currently, there are many types of heating wires or coil materials, and many heating wires do not require an output voltage of 4.3V to heat and vaporize properly. For different atomizers or atomizer cores, power settings do not need to follow specific formulas; just adjust from an output voltage above 3V to find your preferred vapor temperature and flavor.

3. Incorrect selection of new or old coils when replacing atomizers or forgetting to adjust power

Some adjustable devices will prompt confirmation of new or old coils when replacing atomizers. If the old coil is incorrectly selected, the device will continue to read the previous atomizer's resistance. Similarly, if the power is forgotten to be adjusted after replacing the atomizer, for example, switching from a dripping atomizer to a mouth-to-lung atomizer, the atomizer core may instantly burn out.

4. Incorrect selection of output mode

These types of errors often occur among new electronic cigarette users. Currently, the most mainstream output mode is wattage output. If you need to use temperature control, simply select the corresponding temperature control function for the heating wire. For devices with bypass mechanical mode, when paired with high-resistance atomizers, it is best not to choose bypass mechanical mode to prevent excessive output from burning the atomizer core.

5. Incorrect selection of charging method

Currently, most series devices come with balance charging functions, so even without a dedicated charger, you can charge directly on the device. However, it is important to note that if the device does not explicitly state support for 2A fast charging, it is recommended to use a 1A output charger to ensure the safety of the battery and device chip.

Based on the current mainstream atomizer cores and coil materials on the market, using adjustable devices only requires adjusting reasonable output values in wattage mode, making the process quite worry-free. Additionally, avoiding the five common operational errors mentioned above can ensure the normal operation of the device and the proper use of the atomizer, leading to a better user experience.
