VTVSmart, the Ghost Princess Dance, is a tool for the cool kids.

As a brand from a fourth-tier city, VTV has gained some recognition. The Smart model being tested today costs less than 10 yuan for the device, with an average price of 18 yuan for the pods. A pack of mid-range cigarettes can last a week with this electronic cigarette, offering excellent cost performance. In terms of price alone, it outperforms YOOZ and MOTI, but the quality is commendable.

The packaging of VTVSmart is mediocre, with a simple color scheme and design that feels a bit cheap, making it unsuitable as a gift. Upon opening, there is an additional layer of plastic wrapping, which provides good protection, earning it a positive review. Packaging score: 7/10.

Upon opening, the device looks similar to the photos, comparable in size to the MOTI, with a flashy and colorful design that appeals to a non-mainstream audience. It’s no wonder it’s named Smart, as it accurately targets its demographic. Different groups will have varying opinions on its appearance; for me, it only scores 6/10, but those who enjoy vibrant colors might love it. Appearance score: 7/10.

The owner informed me that the mango flavor was buy one get one free, so I bought two boxes of mango, with one box featuring the main flavor of chrysanthemum tea.

Mango: The first puff was impressive, but it became increasingly sweet, which felt off. Upon removing the pod, I discovered it was leaking oil. I had only bought it a few minutes ago, and it was already leaking. A major sweet disaster. Flavor score: 2/10.

Chrysanthemum tea: The quality was good, and it didn’t leak when it ran out of oil. The flavor was nice, as I enjoy drinking tea, and this chrysanthemum tea flavor was quite authentic. Flavor score: 8.5/10.

Overall flavor score: 5.25/10.

Experience: After using it for a while, it felt a bit like unboxing a mystery box; the quality was not very stable. The later mango pods didn’t leak, but the initial experience caused some anxiety while using it. The battery lasts for about 200 puffs, requiring a charge every three days, which is average. Overall, for this price, the cost performance is quite acceptable. Experience score: 7/10.

(Packaging: 7 + Appearance: 7 + Average Flavor Score: 5.25 + Experience: 7) / 4 = 6.56.

Overall score: 6.56. (Slightly better than Xiaoye.)
