Can Vaping Help You Quit Smoking?
As a smoker for over 25 years, I believe I am qualified to answer this question.
About two months ago, I transitioned to using YOOZ electronic cigarettes. Since I have a strong nicotine addiction (about a pack a day), I initially tried three types of 5% nicotine pods: Classic Tobacco, Refreshing Mint, and Illusion Black Ice. I ended up passing on Classic Tobacco and Refreshing Mint, and now I only use Illusion Black Ice. During this time, I experienced issues like waking up with a dry mouth, a bitter taste, phlegm, and dry cough, but these problems have indeed improved. Brushing my teeth no longer induces gagging, although sometimes I experience gum bleeding, which is puzzling.
Now, I go through about one pod every 3-5 days, totaling about two pods a week (from Monday to Friday, I tend to be lazy and not go downstairs at work, so I can use it for five days, and then I finish one pod on Friday night and over the weekend). So far, I haven't smoked a single cigarette in half a month (I say this with a clear conscience). Not to mention other benefits, just in terms of cost savings, I've saved about two-thirds. Seven days of smoking equals 7 packs at 25 each, totaling 175 (I only smoke the yellow-pack Fu Rong Wang, which is 25 a pack). For two pods, I buy them at 25 each, totaling only 50 a week. This is a tangible and noticeable saving!

During the two-month transition period, I was using both tobacco and electronic cigarettes. Many times, I smoked traditional cigarettes due to social gatherings or karaoke, and I often felt the urge to light up after meals. However, I later discovered that taking a few puffs from the electronic cigarette would eliminate the desire for a traditional cigarette. My body had already received the nicotine it needed; lighting up was merely a habit and a ritual. Of course, I can't say I've completely overcome my nicotine addiction yet, but I believe that breaking free from the temptation of traditional cigarettes and the physiological and psychological habits and rituals is a significant step forward.
Lastly, don't tell me what experts say about electronic cigarettes being more harmful than traditional tobacco. I would spit in your face; when you say that, you haven't considered the benefits of YOOZ while I was mixing the e-liquid with my food! What advantages does electronic cigarettes have over traditional tobacco? I think this article provides a fair perspective. If you want to read it, go ahead; if not, just ignore it. Don't blame me for advertising.
