Does Anyone Know How the Newly Launched JVE Vaping Device Is? Is It Good?
I have tried 10 boxes of pods;

59 for a box of 3, about 20 per pod, buy 5 boxes and get a device for free
The reason for purchase is simple, purely because it's cheap. 59 for a box of 3, about 20 per pod, buy 5 boxes and get a device + one pod for free, anyway, it's 2/5 cheaper than the RELX first generation and MOTI C that I used to smoke;
The device is said to be a public model, and the hardware of electronic cigarettes like this, with charging and discharging circuits, small capacity batteries, and heating wires, can be said to have no barriers even for workshops in Shenzhen.
First, let's talk about the hardware. The device is said to be a public model, and the hardware of electronic cigarettes, including charging and discharging circuits + small capacity batteries + heating wires, can be considered to have no barriers even for workshops in Shenzhen. The aluminum shell, auxiliary materials, charging cables, and packaging are even less worth mentioning. There’s not much to say about the production of pods either. Having worked in consumer electronics in Shenzhen for over ten years, I still have a few former colleagues who have switched to making electronic cigarette products. The accurate information is that the device costs a little over 20, and the pods cost 4-5 yuan each; from the actual products received, they are on par with other brands. Each pod has a capacity of 2ML and 3% nicotine, which is also in line with mainstream brands, with identical parameters, standard and conventional. It is said that they do not have their own factory, but outsource production to factories, selling designs, formulations, and execution standards. This is a light asset operation, and compared to other established brands that have invested heavily in marketing and promotion channels for many years, the operational space is much larger. Of course, this is also very intuitively reflected in the selling price.
Taste: This brand adds relatively less flavoring, and the aroma and sweetness in the mouth are much lighter than RELX, and cannot be compared to the heavier and sweeter MOTI. The cooling sensation is stronger than other brands. Some flavors, like apple, I personally feel are more like the taste of jujube. Overall, the taste style is lighter and cooler. Taste is subjective, and everyone has their preferences, so it's hard to make conclusive comparisons. As for me, I used to frequently change styles when smoking cigarettes, not sticking to just one type. Overall, the taste style does have noticeable differentiation from other brands, and it is relatively satisfying to smoke without major issues.
MIXUE BINGCHENG's sales and channel layout model
Channels: It feels quite far behind RELX, as there are very few offline sales points in bustling and core urban areas; at least in my area, they are mostly set up around universities and non-bustling residential areas. This makes it difficult for product pricing to compare with RELX, but MIXUE BINGCHENG's sales and channel layout model is also very feasible and perhaps more suitable for this brand's situation.
Price: No doubt, as mentioned before, the direct store prices are even cheaper than RELX's WeChat business prices. The price is at the level of 10 yuan per pack of real cigarettes, which should not be a burden even for students without stable income. I personally think that the differentiated pricing strategy and the low-cost replication and expansion channel construction thinking of surrounding rural areas is correct. If this brand were to compete with RELX for the number of stores in prime locations and price their products at 99 yuan for 3 pods, given RELX's 4-5 year head start and advantages, it might never catch up. Blind expansion and burning money in the early stages could lead to its downfall.
After smoking for more than half a month, I have had no adverse reactions. Just like cigarettes, there are consumers at all price points from 3-4 yuan to 100 yuan, and the consumer base is not completely fixed. Gifts, holidays, and social occasions can also lead to significant sales of brands like Huazi and Dazhongjiu. New brands wanting to overtake must not just compete head-on with the advantages of established brands; if the established brands do not encounter major issues, it is hard to find opportunities to surpass them.
Overall, this brand's product does not have any obvious weaknesses in hardware quality or taste aspects. Conversely, apart from the price, it does not have any significant advantages or characteristics. It has a high cost-performance ratio and is suitable for daily use. Using cigarettes as an example, the overall sales in the 7-15 yuan range are certainly higher than those above 15+. New brands wanting to carve out a path to grow strong also need a development process. If they are not besieged by leading brands in a price war, the long-term forecast should be promising.
