Review of the Pros and Cons of Different Vape Brands

I’m a woman who’s been into vaping for 4 years, and I’ve tried more than 5 brands, though I can’t remember them all clearly. The ones that left the strongest impression were RELX, YOOZ, and MOTI. I don’t remember the others too well, so I’ll just talk about my own experience.
MOTI was recommended to me by a close friend. Among the brands I’ve used, its appearance is relatively average—personally I think it looks a bit clunky. As for flavors, my top recommendation is mint, which is also the one I’d recommend across all brands. To me, it tastes similar to Esse mint capsule cigarettes and is the easiest to accept. I don’t recommend mango because the overwhelming sweetness is hard to enjoy. As for the tobacco flavor, there’s no need to say much—if it’s your first time using it, I’d suggest taking small, slow puffs.
As for downsides: occasionally when taking a puff, it feels as if the airflow inlet is blocked, and the moment you pull it away from your mouth there’s a sizzling sound, which hurts the experience quite a bit.
I got my experience with YOOZ from a friend who gave me one. The packaging was fine—simple and not cheap-looking, and the texture felt pretty good.
My experience with YOOZ came from a friend who gave me one. The packaging was decent, simple and not tacky, and it felt fairly light and slim. Inside were 4 pods. The one that left the deepest impression was the classic tobacco flavor, because among all the brands I’ve tried, this was the only tobacco flavor that didn’t have an overly sweet taste. It was relatively smooth on the inhale, though the nicotine hit kicked in a bit afterward. Personally, I’m not too fond of that, because at this point the only thing vaping can really replace from traditional cigarettes is nicotine—if you want exactly the same flavor, forget it. I would recommend the mung bean flavor, though. The first mung bean flavor I ever tried was from YOOZ, and it gave a mung bean ice cream taste with a refreshing coolness. You can take long draws without feeling overwhelmed, and your mouth is left full of mung bean aroma.
Downside: there isn’t anything especially standout about the design or the e-liquid. But that’s not really a major complaint.
RELX is the brand I’ve been using all along. First, let’s talk about the appearance: it’s fairly compact and attractive. Maybe because the user base is so large, there are also skins and customization options, so it has good expandability. Next, the mouthpiece experience is genuinely excellent and fits the lips perfectly. In the end, actual user experience matters more than getting tired of looks. Finally, compared with the other brands I’ve used, I truly love the crisp, refreshing mint and the light, fresh mung bean flavor.
Downside: the cost of use is relatively a bit higher, though still within an acceptable range. But a guy recommended by a friend offered me a price nearly 30 RMB cheaper than the market price, so I directly stocked up on a year’s supply, okay…
I’ve seen a lot of answers saying quitting smoking is best. Of course, not smoking at all is best. But when you don’t have enough courage or willpower to refuse nicotine, then we can only accept paying a health price in exchange for the pleasure nicotine brings. Still, while enjoying that pleasure, if you can avoid harming yourself and others, isn’t vaping a better choice? After two years, I now can’t do without RELX, and I no longer have the courage to pick up cigarettes again. When there’s a better option, not choosing it would be pretty foolish.
