What to Do If Your RELX or YOOZ Vape Pen Gets Wet: Six Steps to Fix It
First: Regardless of whether it's plain water, sugary drinks, or soup from a meal, separate the pod and the device as quickly as possible. Shake off the moisture from the device as quickly as possible, because liquid can create a conductive path on the circuit board, leading to short circuits, which can severely damage the entire circuit.
1. Separate the Device and Pod
If the vape pen falls into water, you need to immediately retrieve the device and quickly separate it from the pod. Do not use it immediately to prevent battery explosion due to short circuits. When retrieving the vape pen, if your phone fell vertically, retrieve it in the same vertical position.
2. Remove Moisture
After retrieving the RELX YOOZ vape pen, first wipe the surface clean with a dry towel or similar item, then use a fine cotton swab to clean the device's slot and other parts. Do not shake the vape pen vigorously, as this may cause water on the surface to seep deeper.

3. Use a Hair Dryer to Dry
For the moisture inside the RELX YOOZ vape pen, you can use a hair dryer to dry it. When using the hair dryer, do not use hot air; keep a certain distance between the hair dryer and the RELX YOOZ vape pen to ensure the air is close to room temperature. Do not point the hair dryer directly at the device; usually, it takes about 30 minutes to blow dry the vape pen.
4. Drying Treatment
Next, we will dry the water-damaged RELX YOOZ vape pen. Rice has good moisture absorption properties, so we can wrap the device in paper towels and then place it in rice. Typically, sealing it for about 13 hours will suffice. If the device was not submerged for long, it should work normally. We can also place the device with desiccants or in a drying box.
5. Check the Device
If the RELX YOOZ vape pen powers on normally, we need to check if the device and pod work together properly by taking a few puffs. If it still doesn't work, you may need to purchase a new one.

6. After-Sales Repair
If the device has been submerged for a long time and is completely damaged, this is not covered under warranty.
