How much is the all-new YOOZ Mini Plus? Is it worth buying?
Since the YOOZ Mini Plus is a limited edition with very few units available, most friends have not seen the actual product. Everyone is curious about how much the YOOZ Mini Plus costs and how it performs. So, I personally unboxed and experienced the YOOZ Mini Plus, and here are my thoughts.

First, let’s take a look at the packaging of the YOOZ Mini Plus. It is slightly longer than the Mini in terms of dimensions, and the box features a new pull-out design (like a drawer), which is an improvement over the traditional top-opening or side-opening methods of the Mini, making it easier for users to unbox and access the device. The color is much more appealing than the Mini, incorporating various vibrant elements from life, giving it a very lively and fashionable feel. Now, let’s unbox and see what’s inside.

Wow, after unboxing, we can see that the layout of the YOOZ Mini Plus is basically the same as the regular Mini. The size of the device is consistent with the Mini, but what stands out is the stylish and vibrant color scheme. Unfortunately, there are no pods included inside, as noted on the box, which states that pods need to be purchased separately. Next, let’s take a closer look at what it looks like.

You can see that both the front and back of the YOOZ Mini Plus are very distinctive. The feel in hand is noticeably more premium than the Mini, as the YOOZ Mini Plus uses a metal sandblasting process, while the previous Mini was made of plastic. Now, let’s take a look at its charging port.

You can see that the charging port of the YOOZ Mini Plus has been upgraded to a Type-C port, while the Mini used the original standard Android port. I want to remind everyone that the YOOZ Mini Plus cannot use fast charging, as the battery capacity cannot handle high current, which could damage the motherboard. Now, let’s see the effect after installing the pod.

The YOOZ Mini Plus has adopted a three-color battery indicator mode, abandoning the simple single-color light mode of the original Mini. This is a significant functional improvement that pleasantly surprised me. It can be said that it has most of the necessary features, but compared to the regular device, it lacks the vibration reminder when inserting the pod; it only has the light indicator. I tried the cola flavor with the YOOZ Mini, YOOZ Mini Plus, and the regular device, and if I were to rate them out of 10: the Mini has the smallest vapor production and a noticeably weaker throat hit, so I would give it a 6; the YOOZ Mini Plus has a slightly larger vapor production and a slightly stronger throat hit, so I would give it an 8, which can basically compete with the regular device; finally, the regular device can be rated a perfect 10.
The battery capacity of the YOOZ Mini Plus has also increased to 300mAh, while the regular Mini has 240mAh, meaning the YOOZ Mini Plus has a longer battery life. Overall, in terms of functionality and performance, the YOOZ Mini Plus has made a qualitative leap compared to the regular YOOZ Mini. The official suggested retail price for the YOOZ Mini Plus is 129 yuan, which is significantly higher than the 9.9 yuan Mini, but the price difference for the single-color sandblasted regular device is only around 120 yuan. Therefore, I still recommend the YOOZ Mini Plus as an entry-level option and a fun collectible to keep as a backup, but considering the price and performance experience, it remains to be discussed. From the perspective of experience and cost-effectiveness, I still recommend the regular device.
