YOOZ 2nd Gen Pod Device Authenticity Comparison (Most Detailed Photo Guide)
Currently, there is no official anti-counterfeiting method for the YOOZ 2nd Gen pod device. The so-called anti-counterfeiting code is only for agents to use for sales and traceability. Many friends have bought counterfeit products without a way to verify their authenticity, leading to many pitfalls.
I hope this article comparing the authenticity of the YOOZ 2nd Gen pod device can help everyone.
There are indeed many differences between genuine and counterfeit products, but some differences are hard to spot without comparison. Here are several key comparison points that are easy to see and identify.
Important Disclaimer: The compared product is only one of the counterfeits; other counterfeit products may differ from the comparison points in this article. Please use genuine products as the main basis for identification. Additionally, genuine products may also have differences due to production location, manufacturer, and batch variations. Please compare comprehensively; the views in this article are for reference only and should not be used as absolute identification criteria.

The right image with a blue border and “√” is the official genuine product.
Not every difference indicates a counterfeit; please compare multiple aspects.
The following content is personal opinion and for reference only:
1. Mouthpiece Comparison

The counterfeit packaging box does not have a white edge at the mouthpiece of the pod.
The genuine packaging box has a white edge at the mouthpiece of the pod.
2. Certificate of Conformity Comparison

The counterfeit certificate has a large, light-colored, and unclear stamp.
The genuine certificate has a small, bright-colored, and clear stamp.
3. Production Date Font Comparison

The counterfeit production date has a small font size.
The genuine production date has a larger font size and different font style.
4. Inner Box Packaging Comparison

The counterfeit inner box has unclear layers or may not have layers at all.
The genuine inner box has very clear layers.
5. YOOZ Logo Comparison (Frosted Gradient Version)

The counterfeit YOOZ logo is engraved on the pod device (I vaguely remember that the old OEM version before March was engraved).
The genuine YOOZ logo is stickered, and there is a significant difference in craftsmanship between the two.
6. Internal Wall Code Appearance Comparison

The counterfeit internal wall code has a small font size and usually has rough edges.
The genuine internal wall code has a larger font size and no rough edges. The font style is also noticeably different.
7. Atomizer Core Comparison

Currently, these two types of cores cannot serve as authoritative identification criteria. The genuine product now has two types of OEM atomizer cores; the old core (produced before March) looks similar to the left image. The right image's core should be from some devices produced after March.
8. YOOZ Charging Port Comparison

The counterfeit charging port has no visible solder points; even if there are, only two solder points can be vaguely seen.
The genuine charging port has four clearly visible solder points. (If you have a phone with a TYPE-C charging port, you can compare it and see clearly.)
That's all for the comparison methods for identifying the authenticity of the YOOZ 2nd Gen electronic cigarette. Additionally, smoking is harmful to health, and I hope to quit smoking as soon as possible. If you can't quit, at least try to smoke less! Please purchase through legitimate channels and do not be tempted by low prices; cheap products are often of poor quality!
