Can MOTI C Continue MOTI’s Dominance? A Review of MOTI C
The brand new 2021 vaping experience begins with MOTI STAY WITH YOU. Encountering it not only brings excitement but also lasting peace of mind. The MOTI·S e-liquid has a large capacity, suitable for work, travel, and leisure, providing long-lasting standby! This time, the new flavors from MOTI·S are quite special and unique. Let’s take a look!
On August 21, 2020, MOTI showcased its new products at the IECIE International Vape Expo, marking the first appearance of the MOTI·C and MOTI·X kits to the public. It is understood that MOTI intends for the MOTI·C to replace the older version of MOTI and continue to dominate the market. Whether it can become a favorable shift for the brand may already have an answer from the users themselves.
MOTI, as a representative of “technology” in the vaping industry, features products that showcase technological advancements, such as “MOTI·S” and “MOTI·S LITE.” Although the removal of the app has taken away a social platform for self-expression, it does not diminish the vibrant presence of “MOTI” across various platforms.

MOTI·C, as a product marking the end of the old MOTI era, embodies the technological advancements that users can see and feel. As the saying goes, “Once you have hair, no one wants to go back to being bald.”
One of the most impressive features of MOTI·C is its self-developed built-in horizontal sensor, which fundamentally prevents burnt coils when the product is used upside down. This design is one of the standout features of MOTI·C. The horizontal sensor determines the angle of the product during use to activate the “reverse suction reminder protection,” preventing accidental damage to the atomizer.
Using the product upside down can prevent the e-liquid from adequately saturating the coil, leading to a diluted flavor or even a burnt coil that cannot be used anymore. During testing, I found that when the product is tilted upwards at 30 degrees, the first puff may produce vapor, but on the second puff, the device vibrates, and the red light turns on, activating the reverse suction reminder protection to ensure a good user experience.

MOTI’s “Surge Mode” is one of its continuing highlights and is one of the few brand series products that come with a “switching function.” The Surge Mode in MOTI·S LITE has introduced more users to the playfulness of MOTI, and its innovative switching gameplay has garnered recognition and popularity among users.
The Surge Mode in MOTI·C is still controlled by the internal chip of the device, activated by user interaction. By pulling and inserting the atomizer three times within two seconds, the device vibrates, and the light turns purple, successfully activating Surge Mode. This mode allows users to experience three bursts of increased vapor production, with a fuller flavor; after three bursts, it vibrates again to return to normal mode, which many users affectionately call “gentle mode,” offering a smooth and layered taste.

MOTI·S previously claimed to have collected usage habits from nearly 2 million users, leading to changes in the draw resistance. In terms of output power, MOTI·C continues the mission of S, further developed to create a unique curve mode for MOTI·C. The upgraded chip, known as the “C-MCU solution,” better integrates with the e-liquid, providing a smoother flavor and better restoration.
Users should note that when using MOTI·C, the power varies with the battery level. Above 50% battery, it shows a white light; between 20%-50%, it shows a yellow light; and below 20%, it shows a red light. The output power will automatically recognize and adjust the curve mode according to the battery status, achieving the user’s ideal experience.
The built-in battery capacity of 400mAh is 100mAh less than the MOTI version, but it offers more features, and the switch to a Type-C charging interface reduces the charging time from the original 40-45 minutes to 30-35 minutes, providing about half a day of usage, especially when frequently using Surge Mode, which indeed consumes more power.
The increase in e-liquid capacity
Proving its practical capabilities
The changes in the atomizer are quite noticeable, so much so that one might exclaim “insider!” The FEELM brand has specially designed a new type of atomizer for MOTI·C with a Y-shaped structure, featuring multiple silicone leak-proof designs. The e-liquid fully integrates with the atomizer, providing even and stable heating, a gentler flavor, and better restoration.
At the mouthpiece of the atomizer, there is a design to prevent condensation. The multi-adjustable structure prevents large drops of condensed liquid from appearing and being inhaled, while the multiple condensation avoidance designs at the bottom work together to say goodbye to condensation!
The birth of the 2.0ML atomizer is based on user experience reports and preference surveys in the era of big data. Data shows that users prefer to increase the e-liquid capacity to enjoy their usage freely. Additionally, I learned that some users dislike having to open a new atomizer when there is only a little e-liquid left, as this may lead to unnecessary waste.
Regarding the packaging redesign of MOTI·C’s non-pre-installed atomizers, I found answers in the data report provided by the brand. The target audience is primarily young users, and those with a choice do not want to be restricted by fixed flavors; they prefer to have flexibility in flavor selection. Currently, there are many brands on the market offering non-pre-installed atomizers, and perhaps MOTI has noticed this trend, leading to this packaging change.
MOTI·C has not yet officially launched, but when it does, it will offer seven color options, with gradient and solid color versions likely appealing to different preferences; in terms of atomizer flavors, there are currently eight flavors with 2% nicotine salt content available, covering both beverage and fruit flavors for users to choose from.
As for the actual user experience of MOTI·C compared to the older version of MOTI, aside from the need for improved battery life, all other aspects show significant enhancements, especially with the addition of several new technological developments, making it one of the brand products favored by the general public. However, the brand has not disclosed much regarding pricing and replacement options, so perhaps a satisfactory answer will be provided soon.
Perhaps in the near future,
MOTI·C will replace the MOTI version.
So, what kind of exchange method do you hope for?
Is it a free exchange? An additional charge for exchange?
Or perhaps a purchase of an atomizer with a bonus?
