Are Vapes Really Effective for Quitting Smoking?
Recently, the e-cigarette industry has seen a major event, as a company boldly sought smokers to test the taste of real cigarettes. It is known that while e-cigarettes are becoming increasingly accepted in China, their taste has often been criticized for not being similar enough to real cigarettes. This time, a company has taken the initiative to have smokers test the taste of their real cigarettes. Aren't they afraid of being embarrassed?
Which company has such confidence in its products?
It turns out to be the Firearm E-Cigarette brand under the Borton Group, which has launched a new product: the Jai e-cigarette, which has garnered widespread attention since its pre-launch! This is because they claim to offer the taste of real cigarettes!
This Jai e-cigarette is quite impressive, reportedly co-produced by Imperial Brands and Firearm, with imported e-liquids. Although I love my country, the foreign-produced e-liquids indeed taste remarkably similar to real cigarettes.
E-cigarettes have always been regarded as a "big pot of rice," where everyone's taste preferences differ, leading to varying results. So how can you determine if the product you choose is suitable for you?
Ah, the Jai e-cigarette is clever; it has considered these factors. Therefore, when producing samples, they conducted a small-scale test. (I must say, Jai's marketing is top-notch.)
They randomly selected a group of 100 smokers of varying smoking experiences to test the Jai e-cigarette and e-liquid for 21 days, providing them with the products free of charge and requiring them to follow the correct method of use. The responsible person tracked their progress daily.
The data showed that among the 100 testers, 92 successfully quit smoking during the trial period (21 days), while the remaining 8, who had been smoking for over 25 years, significantly reduced their smoking volume. After applying for an extension, they all managed to quit smoking within three months.
Here are some typical monthly reports from a few testers for your reference (to protect personal privacy, only surnames are used):
Mr. Zhang from Wuhan, Hubei, 13 years of smoking experience:

I have been smoking for about 15 years, starting at 17 years old, smoking about two packs a day. I have tried many methods to quit smoking but have not succeeded. I participated in the Firearm's e-cigarette quitting test, and the e-liquid's taste is shockingly similar to real cigarettes. I realized that nicotine replacement therapy could work this way. I have now been smoke-free for three months, and using this e-liquid seems to have reduced my cravings for cigarettes.
Mr. Li from Jiangxi, 5 years of smoking experience:

I have been smoking for 5 years, and since getting married, we haven't had children yet. I have tried many methods to quit smoking, which has affected my family's health. Participating in this smoking test was very effective; the e-liquid tastes just like real cigarettes. I used to smoke a pack a day, but now I only use the e-cigarette a few times a day. My morning cough has improved, and I am grateful for this testing opportunity from Firearm. I will persist and quit smoking completely.
Mr. Liu from Shanghai, 35 years of smoking experience:

I know that smoking has no benefits, but as I get older, I still can't quit. What I can't quit is the habit and psychological dependence. This new e-liquid is very effective for me. I will continue to quit smoking. I have already been smoke-free for two months, and I feel particularly comfortable. It feels like two mountains have been lifted off my lungs, my throat is no longer dry or painful, phlegm has decreased, and my chest no longer feels tight. Smoking is smoother, and my energy levels have increased.
