On November 14, under clear Shenzhen skies and with the sea breeze drifting in from Yantian Port, Wuye Shen Group welcomed a distinguished guest. Mr. Yao Jide, Chairman of the EC Committee of the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, together with Mr. Ao Weinuo and other representatives, visited the headquarters of LAMI, a company under Wuye Shen Group, for an inspection and exchange. Despite it being a Sunday, Chairman Yao made the trip in person. It was also his first visit to a member company since taking office, reflecting both his expectations for the industry's development and the importance he places on the association's work.
Mr. Wen Yuqing, Chairman of Wuye Shen Group, Mr. He Chang, President of LAMI Vapor, and others warmly welcomed the delegation from the association. Both sides held in-depth discussions on their respective development histories, current business conditions, and future plans. In particular, amid the current pressure facing the vaping industry and the challenges posed by pending new regulations, both sides reached a shared view: the EC Committee of the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce and Wuye Shen Group, as outstanding and well-known organizations founded respectively by Chaoshan and Hakka entrepreneurs, should place major focus on deep business development, vertical integration, technology, safety, and scientific research. By carrying forward Guangdong's pragmatic spirit and a long-term mindset, they can make firm and decisive investments in an industry and track with strong future potential, while maintaining the patience and commitment needed to build for the long run.
When the discussion turned to the upcoming new vaping regulations, Chairman Yao remarked that everything before the official release of the new rules is merely a warm-up match. He expressed his expectations and confidence in Wuye Shen Group and LAMI. He emphasized that once the new regulations are implemented, the vaping industry will gain more sustainable room for growth and progress, while also moving toward healthier and higher-quality development.
Chairman Wen expressed his belief that technology-driven development is the core competitive advantage. Over the past 22 years, Wuye Shen Group has consistently advanced with the shared goal of strengthening its supply chain capabilities, product strength, and brand marketing power. In the new tobacco sector, the group has already spent several years building out its presence and development. Wuye Shen Group has formed unique supply chain capabilities in Asia, enabling it to better empower domestic vaping partners to expand internationally, while also bringing international technology into China for the benefit and growth of the industry.
Secretary-General Ao mentioned that the association and its member companies should uphold two overriding principles as the standard for industry development: the national interest comes first, and consumer interests come first. At the same time, higher standards must be set for product technology and safety. Only in this way can the industry produce better products and more responsible companies, allowing the entire sector to develop in a healthier way.
Mr. He Chang, President of LAMI Vapor, expressed strong recognition of the association and thanked it for its hard work and dedication over the past five years. He also responded to the business directions proposed by the association, stressing LAMI's willingness to embrace regulation and participate proactively. Through technology-driven development and vertical supply chain integration, both the LAMI and Lingjia brands are committed to providing consumers with better products and better service. LAMI aims to become an active participant in the industry after the new regulations take effect, and to be a vaping company with accountability, responsibility, and integrity. The company is also willing to actively participate in overseas markets and, through the association's platform, seek more opportunities to exchange and cooperate with international clients and global partners.
