Breaking: Shenzhen Issues Its First Vaping Fine
[Global Network Comprehensive Report] On the afternoon of July 21, Shenzhen Yuelai Yuelove Technology Co., Ltd. received an administrative penalty decision from the Nanshan Branch of the Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration for failing to post relevant anti-smoking signs in its physical store in Nanshan District. The fine was 2,000 yuan. This is reportedly the first "fine" issued in the national e-cigarette market, marking the expansion of anti-smoking efforts from traditional tobacco products to new tobacco products such as e-cigarettes, with increasing enforcement against youth smoking.<\/p>
According to Tianyancha data, Shenzhen Yuelai Yuelove Technology Co., Ltd. was established in March 2020, with a registered capital of 100,000 yuan. The legal representative is Wen Yilong. The company's business scope includes technical development and services in information technology and virtual reality technology; research, wholesale, and retail of electronic products, electronic components, communication products, and computer software and hardware. The company is wholly owned by Beijing Wuxin Technology Co., Ltd., with Wang Ying as the ultimate beneficiary. Tianyancha data shows that Wang Ying has several affiliated companies, including serving as the legal representative of Beijing RELX Technology Co., Ltd.<\/p>

Tianyancha Professional Edition data shows that there are currently over 13,000 companies in China whose names, business scopes, or brand names include "e-cigarettes" or "e-cigarette devices," and are in operation, existing, or in the process of relocation.<\/p>

From a regional distribution perspective, Guangdong Province has the highest number of e-cigarette-related companies, exceeding 7,300, accounting for about 54% of the total number of related companies nationwide. Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces rank second and third, with around 1,000 related companies each. Additionally, according to incomplete statistics, Tianyancha Professional Edition data shows that over 50 e-cigarette-related companies in China have received financing at various times.<\/p>
It is worth noting that Tianyancha Professional Edition risk data shows that among e-cigarette-related companies in China, 268 have faced administrative penalties, and 33 have serious violations. In 2019, the number of e-cigarette-related companies with enforcement information reached 705 times, the highest in history.<\/p>
