Which RELX pod flavors are best, and how should you choose?
1. How should you choose among the 4th-generation products? Only kids force themselves to pick just one—I want them all, haha~ Just kidding, let’s get to the point.
Do you know these blind spots?

1. Which RELX generation has the most flavors?
Whether official sources or people in the community, many people’s first reaction is the 1st generation. But let me ask it differently: which RELX generation currently has the most flavors available online?
In fact, the 1st generation did release the most flavors overall, but only 15 flavors are currently available for purchase. Out of the 22 flavors originally launched, Icy Purple Sweet Potato, Frozen Lemon Tea, Smooth Tobacco, Fresh Cucumber, Refreshing Grapefruit, and Banana Milkshake have been discontinued. In addition, Iced Black Tea is sold as a limited edition and may not become a regular product, so 22 - 7 = 15.
The 3rd-generation Lingdian has 14 flavors, and the 4th-generation Infinity has 12. Whether by current availability or total releases, both do have fewer than the 1st generation. But there is also the 2nd-generation Alpha, which has launched a total of 20 flavors. Only three—Japanese Green Plum Wine, Ginger Energy Drink, and Korean Citron Tea—were limited editions for this summer, so 20 - 3 = 17. In terms of currently available flavors, it actually has 2 more than the 1st generation.
2. Even within the same generation, different flavors may have the same e-liquid volume, but the puff count is not necessarily the same.
I use the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations. Normally, one 1st-generation pod lasts me about two and a half days, but strawberry only lasts me a day and a half. My personal numbers may not be perfectly accurate, so let’s look at the official data for the 3rd generation. The chart shown is based on my own Lingdian usage data from August: Hidden Team averaged 550 puffs per pod, Strawberry 519, Zen Mung Bean 667, Apricot Peach 597, Passion Fruit 556, Late-Night Coffee 542, and most notably, Fruit Carnival was surprisingly only 314.
By the way, it seems the 2nd and 3rd generations are relatively less popular, but for heavy smokers I actually recommend the 3rd generation. Its throat hit and satisfaction are more in line with what long-time smokers want. Although the 1st generation has 2ml of e-liquid and the 3rd generation only 1.5ml—so on paper the 1st generation has 0.5ml more—if we compare the same flavor, like strawberry, one 1st-generation pod lasts me only about a day and a half, while one 3rd-generation pod can last me around 3 days. Also, when I’m working on graphics, if I pick up the 1st generation, I usually need 3–5 puffs before putting it down, while with the 3rd generation, 2 puffs are basically enough.
So purely in terms of value for money, the 3rd generation offers better cost performance than the 1st generation.
