Basic Knowledge About E-Liquid Leakage and Burnt Taste in Vaping Devices
Pod leakage is generally caused by the following situations:
1. Holding it flat or using it while lying down (because filling and airflow share the same channel, using it at a non-vertical angle may lead to leakage).
2. Extreme hot or cold weather.
3. Air pressure issues, which usually occur on airplanes or in places such as Tibet (changes in air pressure can cause the bottom of the pod or the white plastic cap to shrink or develop gaps, allowing e-liquid to leak into the condensation chamber and then be drawn out).
4. Impact or dropping the device (this can loosen the white plastic seal and create gaps that cause leakage; careful handling is recommended).
5. Water droplets on the bottom of the pod or on the contact points of the device, which are usually condensation. Wipe them clean and it can normally be used again.
6. Long periods of non-use may also cause this problem (if the device will not be used for a long time, it is recommended to separate the pod from the device).
7. When a vaping device atomizes, a small amount of vapor may remain in the airway. After cooling, it forms condensation, which is often mistaken for leakage.
8. The structure of a vaping device requires both intake and airflow openings, so a slight amount of leakage can be normal. If leakage occurs, follow the instructions shown in the images below.
Please check whether any of the above situations apply.
Note: If you accidentally get e-liquid in your mouth, stop using it for the time being. Rinse your mouth with warm water for a few minutes, and the discomfort should go away.

Daily maintenance steps:

About a burnt taste
If your device has a burnt taste, you can troubleshoot it step by step as follows.
1. Carbon buildup: because e-liquid contains flavorings, the ceramic wick may sometimes feed poorly, and a small amount of residue can build up around the heating film, causing a burnt taste. Let it sit for a while before using it again;
2. Improper use: do not hold it flat or upside down, as this can easily cause dry burning or leakage. Try to keep the device upright as much as possible;
3. Too little e-liquid remaining: if there is not enough e-liquid during heating, it may heat unevenly and produce a burnt taste. It is recommended to replace it with another pod;
4. Steeping: this process is similar to letting wine breathe. The substances inside the pod need time to blend fully, and once they are completely integrated, the flavor will be better;
5. Condensation buildup: if there is too much condensation at the bottom of the pod, the smell may come from heating that condensation during use. It is recommended to promptly clean the condensation from the bottom of the pod with a tissue and keep it dry.
About no vapor despite power
If your device has not been dropped or damaged by human error but still produces no vapor, you can troubleshoot it using the following steps:
1. Use a cotton swab or tissue to wipe the four contact points at the top of the device.
2. Try a different pod to see whether it works normally.
3. Lightly tap the device and the bottom of the pod against a flat table to break up the condensation.
4. Press down the four small copper contact points at the bottom of the pod, insert the pod into the device, gently adjust it, and test again.
5. Check how much e-liquid is left. If too little remains, uneven heating may prevent it from producing vapor.
Note: If this is your first time using it, remember to remove the transparent stopper at the bottom of the pod first ~(the transparent stopper is located in the center of the bottom of the pod).
