Aspire Minican+ Review: Card-Style Semi-Transparent Design, Compact Size, Strong Performance

Aspire Minican. The manufacturer didn’t promote this device heavily, so many people don’t know about it. The company’s focus was on the Aspire 666 released around the same time. So today we’re reviewing this card-style semi-transparent Aspire Minican+

Introduction and Operation

The kit includes 1 device, 1 pod, 1 charging cable, 1 lanyard, and 1 manual. It’s a very thoughtful design. Many devices don’t come with a lanyard, and there is a lanyard hole reserved at the upper left corner of the body (above the Type-C charging port), which is very user-friendly and saves you from having to look for one separately.

The main unit uses a card-style semi-transparent body, so you can clearly see the battery and the layout of the internal wiring, which looks very stylish. Although the shell is plastic, it comes with a protective film to prevent scratches. It has an 850mAh battery, which basically provides 1.5 to 2 days of battery life. Thanks to the transparent design, you can also see the remaining e-liquid level more directly, helping avoid “dry burning” and damage to the pod atomizer.

The pod capacity is 3 ml, with bottom filling. Once filled, it’s basically enough for me for two days without needing more juice. The atomizer core material is, of course, Aspire’s super cotton core technology, with excellent flavor reproduction. The kit comes with a 1.0Ω pod, and later you can separately buy 0.8Ω or 1.0Ω pods. The constant 3.7V output is the same voltage design as the Aspire Oby. Using a simple physics formula, in theory a 1.0Ω pod outputs about 13W, while a 0.8Ω pod outputs about 17W. Compared with refillable small pod devices like RELX and YOOZ (which output around 5–6W), it delivers stronger performance while still ensuring the e-liquid’s proper flavor.

Post-use impressions

The overall look is stylish, operation is simple and easy to pick up, and there’s basically nothing complicated to do—just bottom fill, let it sit for 5 minutes, and you can start vaping. It’s a very beginner-friendly device for newcomers.

The flavor is excellent. The vapor is very fine, the taste is rich, and vapor production is also very large (partly due to the higher power). Although it is positioned as an entry-level refillable pod device, the performance is very strong. Fruit flavors and single-flavor e-liquids are recommended (mixed-flavor e-liquids are not recommended). Personally, the taste can be compared to the Nautilus: strong output and able to bring out the e-liquid’s true flavor.

Condensation is definitely unavoidable, meaning residue in the air channel, so just clean it regularly.

Personal conclusion

In the end, the Aspire Minican+ is truly excellent as an entry-level refillable pod device, with strong performance and a very stylish card-style semi-transparent design.
