Speaking of RELX e-cigarettes, they have become a leader in the e-cigarette market, inevitably attracting many people looking for low investment and high returns, leading to some individuals breaking the law by selling fake RELX products. One such individual has been sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison and fined 200,000 yuan.

A case of selling fake RELX: In a criminal case involving the online sale of counterfeit RELX products, the Dongguan Second People's Court in Guangdong Province ruled that the defendant, Chen, had opened 10 online stores on e-commerce platforms such as Pinduoduo and Alibaba without authorization from Shenzhen Wuxin Technology Co., Ltd., selling products that he knew were counterfeit RELX registered trademarks. He was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison and fined 200,000 yuan. According to the judgment, Chen had been selling counterfeit RELX products since October 2018 and was arrested by the police in November 2019. The police seized 174 sets of counterfeit RELX e-cigarette kits, 228 boxes of counterfeit e-cigarette pods, and 134 counterfeit e-cigarette devices. By the time of the incident, Chen had sold counterfeit RELX products totaling about 1 million yuan. The court found that the RELX trademark is a registered trademark approved and registered in China, and its exclusive rights are protected by law. Chen's sale of counterfeit RELX products infringed upon the exclusive rights of the RELX trademark and disrupted the national market order, warranting legal punishment. In November of last year, the National Tobacco Monopoly Administration and the State Administration for Market Regulation issued a notice on further protecting minors from the harm of e-cigarettes. To implement this measure, RELX has closed its online sales channels, but the number of illegal sellers of counterfeit and imitation RELX products on social media and e-commerce platforms has increased significantly.

These RELX counterfeit and imitation products seriously threaten consumer safety. RELX has launched the "Golden Shield Action" to crack down on counterfeiting, assisting local police in solving multiple cases involving counterfeit RELX brands and products, with suspects being criminally detained by the police. Therefore, we remind consumers to purchase RELX products only from legitimate channels to avoid being deceived.
