RELX 5th Generation is currently one of the newest products from RELX. As soon as it was launched, it received strong consumer praise and was quickly snapped up by buyers. Many consumers may be a little confused about the price of the RELX 5th Generation, because there are three types of packaging, which means the single device kit appears at three different price points. Honestly, it’s hard to understand what the official RELX team was thinking.
Official price of RELX 5th Generation:
The 5th Gen single device is 268 each (device-only package; pods must be purchased separately)
5th Gen pods are 99 per box (3 pods per box; 2ml each). 4th and 5th Generation pods are cross-compatible.

I’ve been using the RELX 5th Generation for a while now, and today I’d like to share some personal usage tips. If anything is inaccurate, feel free to point it out, and if I missed anything, feel free to add it.
- The RELX 5th Generation takes about an hour to fully charge. When the indicator light stays solid white, it’s fully charged. To help preserve battery life, try not to leave it charging overnight or use a fast charger. That said, the device itself is still a consumable item, so if you don’t mind, just charge it in whatever way is most convenient.
- You can make the draw tighter on the RELX 5th Generation by covering one of the small holes on the side of the device.
- In my personal experience, mouth-to-lung vaping brings out the pod flavor more completely. In other words, inhale it into your mouth first like a traditional cigarette, then inhale into the lungs. This feels better than a more direct lung hit.
- When using it, don’t puff too fast or too hard. Take slow, gentle draws so the e-liquid can atomize fully.
- My personal suggestion: if you use one pod for more than two days, keep the silicone plug from the pod mouthpiece and put it back on when not in use. This can help slow down flavor fade.
- If the inhale doesn’t feel as smooth or comfortable as usual, remove the pod and give it a shake—there may be condensation inside. Also use a cotton swab to wipe the metal contact areas on both the pod and the device so they connect better.
- If you feel that the flavor of a new pod is mixing with the previous one, use a cotton swab with a tiny bit of alcohol to wipe the inner metal housing of the device, then let it air out or blow through it to clear the residual flavor.
- Keep the device upright as often as possible during use. A slight tilt is fine, but don’t overdo it. You do not need to check it in when flying—just carry it with you.
- Store the device properly and avoid direct sun exposure and impact. For example, if it has been dropped and the flavor performance clearly declines, it’s recommended to replace it with a new device. Also pay special attention to protecting the connection area between the device and pod.
- In hot summer weather, combined with glycerin’s moisture-absorbing properties, make sure to drink plenty of water while using vaping devices—seriously, drink more water.
