Why Am I Inhaling E-Liquid When Using a Vape Device?

One common situation is that some vapor remains inside the airway and condenses back into e-liquid when it cools. If it builds up over time and is not cleaned, you may occasionally draw some of it into your mouth. Another situation occurs with devices usi

The first possibility is that some of the vapor remains inside the airway, then condenses back into e-liquid when it cools and builds up inside the passage. If it is not cleaned for a long time, the buildup can eventually be drawn into your mouth occasionally.

The second possibility is with cotton-coil devices or devices that produce a large amount of vapor. Some of the vapor may condense into liquid inside the mouth, and sensitive users may feel like they are inhaling e-liquid.

The third possibility is that you are puffing too quickly, creating excessive airflow. Try taking slower, steadier draws.

The fourth possibility is that you have just refilled the e-liquid. The coil becomes more saturated and leaking is more likely, making it easier to inhale liquid, often accompanied by a gurgling sound. It is recommended to clean out the excess condensation or pooled liquid before use.

The fifth possibility applies to devices with a physical fire button. Some people press the fire button without actually inhaling. In this case, because there is no airflow to cool the device, the atomization sound becomes especially loud, and heat buildup increases the internal air pressure, sometimes even causing e-liquid to spit out. Doing this can easily accelerate coil aging. This behavior is known as a “dry burn.” Please avoid dry burning your device whenever possible. Also, when taking a puff, do not press the fire button first and then bring the mouthpiece to your mouth. Instead, place the mouthpiece in your mouth first, and press the fire button at the same time you begin to inhale to avoid dry burning.

The sixth possibility is that the coil has reached the end of its lifespan. Excessive carbon buildup can cause uneven heating and incomplete vaporization. Simply replace it with a new coil.

The seventh possibility is that the device battery is low, reducing output so it cannot provide enough power for proper vaporization. Please fully charge the device.

Please check these seven possibilities one by one based on your actual situation. Solution: clean condensation regularly. Wrap a tissue around the mouthpiece, turn the device upside down, and gently shake it a few times.
