RELX 2nd Gen – Alpha kit specifications

The second-generation device comes in 6 colors, 4 of which are standard versions. The package includes one device and two pods. The blue and red gradient versions are premium editions, which also include a portable case and two extra pods, for a total of four pods. The device weighs 20.1g, has a 350mAh battery, and can be fully charged in about 40 minutes. If you take 15 puffs within 10 minutes, it will vibrate as a reminder.

Pod specifications

There are currently 17 pod flavors available for the second generation. Each pod has a capacity of 1.6ml and delivers about 500 puffs. Nicotine strength options are 3% and 5%.

Previously, pod packs always contained two pods, but some flavors have now been upgraded to three-pod packs, making them a great value!

User experience

1. The front indicator light is a circular ring made up of 64 small dots, which looks much cooler than the droplet-shaped light on the first generation. When battery level drops below 30%, the breathing light turns red, so you do not have to worry about suddenly running out of power.

2. From the front, it looks fairly rounded, while the sides are more angular, giving it a distinctive contrast in design.

3. The strong throat hit is the defining feature of the second generation, and it is also the strongest throat hit among RELX products. Because of that, it is not especially recommended for beginners. The sensation is intense enough that it might put some people off right away.

4. Issues like condensation leakage and e-liquid leakage are quite rare, so it is relatively hassle-free to use.

5. It uses a ring-shaped airflow channel, with atomization performance better than the first generation and on par with the third generation. It is also less likely to burn the coil, and it offers the most realistic draw experience of the lineup.

6. Although the second-generation pods now come in three-pod packs and offer better value, the market reputation of these three-pack pods has been fairly poor and cannot compare with the older two-pack pods...
