The design of the NOS mini's Stars series maintains the appearance of the NOS mini, but with a starry sand effect on the surface.
This gives the NOS mini's Stars series a more luxurious look, available in three color options: Mystical Black Gold, Crimson Gold, and Affectionate Rose Gold. Additionally, the manufacturer has launched a limited edition NOS mini Stars with the same paint finish.
Upon handling it, I found that the sanded glossy finish has a noticeable texture when touched, making it comfortable to hold, and there’s no concern about the 'gold sand' rubbing off.
Unlike the disposable NOS mini, the NOS mini's Stars series features the indicator light on the front of the device, with the USB charging port located at the bottom.

Through the transparent oil chamber, it can be seen that the pods use cotton wicks instead of the mainstream ceramic wicks. Personally, I feel that cotton wicks provide better flavor, especially with this horizontally positioned cotton wick, which gives a nostalgic feeling. Testing revealed that the flavor of the NOS mini's Stars series is commendable, and it’s time to reevaluate ceramic wicks.
As shown in the image, the bottom of the pod features honeycomb airflow holes, while the four colored dots on the top of the pod indicate the flavor. The mouthpiece has also been improved compared to the NOS mini, ensuring that lips do not come into contact with the pod's surface, likely due to the presence of oil-absorbing cotton inside.
Eager to share this luxurious product, I didn’t have time to disassemble the pod. This was mainly because the pod was not yet empty, and disassembling it while still filled with liquid would be wasteful. The flavor performance is similar to the Blueberry Burst flavor of the NOS mini (one of my two favorite flavors). The initial inhale is refreshing, especially when inhaled into the lungs, providing a cooling sensation. The blueberry flavor is quite distinct, not overly strong. The cooling effect makes the throat hit mild, and when inhaling through the nose, the coolness feels even more pleasant, providing excellent cravings relief.
Super Cool (Mint)
This flavor continues the Super Cool flavor of the NOS mini, offering a refreshing minty sensation upon inhalation. There’s a slight mint bitterness felt on the walls of the mouth, but the throat hit is not strong. The cooling sensation is substantial, making it very suitable for summer use. When exhaling, the vapor can be inhaled through the nose, and the refreshing sensation quickly permeates the entire body, feeling very invigorating.
Fruitwood Tobacco
This is a flavor I hadn’t experienced during my earlier use of the NOS mini, representing a new flavor launched by NOS. As the name suggests, it is a blend of various fruits and tobacco. The initial inhale lacks the cooling sensation of the previous two flavors, instead offering a slight warmth from the vapor. However, when the vapor is drawn back, a strong throat hit is felt. Upon inhaling through the nose, the combination of fruit and tobacco flavors bursts forth, although I personally find the flavor not overly appealing.
After connecting the pod, the size of the NOS mini's Stars series is only about 11mm longer than the NOS mini, with a comparable battery capacity. The pod capacity is 1ml. According to the manufacturer, the 1ml designation was chosen for overall aesthetic balance and to ensure consistent flavor (extensive testing showed that when the liquid exceeds 1ml, the excess liquid can degrade the flavor due to repeated heating of the coil).
