Innokin has built a solid reputation among mouth-to-lung users, and the EZ Watt kit is the company’s latest mouth-to-lung starter kit. The EZ Watt features a compact, portable form factor and a clean, streamlined design. The device comes paired with a Prism T20S tank, and many experienced users will already be familiar with the Prism series. Users can also use a Slipstream tank on the EZ Watt mod, although that tank is not included in the kit.
The EZ Watt continues Innokin’s signature packaging style, with the product image on the front of the box and relevant product information on the back. The EZ Watt device has a smooth and refined rubberized coating, and the package includes two different drip tip/top cap styles. The tank comes preinstalled with a standard top cap, which means users can pair it with any 510 drip tip they prefer. The other top cap comes with a conical drip tip made from a different material. The T20S tank also uses a rubberized exterior design, with colors matched to the device. However, it is worth noting that the black and black-red versions of the tank do not have the rubberized coating.
The EZ Watt has a compact shape, and the edges of the device are rounded and beveled, making it very comfortable to hold. The body has only two buttons and no screen. Above the function button are three V-shaped indicator lights. When the indicator is green, the output power is 13W or 14W; blue indicates 16W or 18W; and white indicates 30W or 35W.
The EZ Watt kit offers only three output settings, which may be a plus for beginners, while more experienced users may find it somewhat too basic. More precisely, though, the EZ Watt actually has six output levels: within the same range, users can fine-tune the output by pressing the function button and judging the brightness of the indicator light (for example, dim means 13W, bright means 14W). To switch between different ranges, users need to press the fire button and the function button at the same time.
The T20S tank is only a minor upgrade over the previous Prism T20. The T20S has some changes to the drip tip design, and the coil and airflow design have also been slightly adjusted. This also means that the T20S is not compatible with the replacement coils from the previous model. However, what I would have preferred to see is an upgrade to the top-fill design, because just like the T20, the T20S still does not allow coil replacement without losing e-liquid. Users should make sure to empty any remaining e-liquid from the tank before replacing the coil.
When testing the 0.8-ohm coil with e-liquid containing 50% VG, the experience at 16W was quite good: the vapor was slightly warm and the vapor production was ample. Although it is not recommended, this 0.8-ohm coil can handle 30W output (though extended use at 30W will affect flavor and shorten the tank’s lifespan). Personally, I prefer using 18W with this 0.8-ohm coil.
The recommended output for the 1.5-ohm coil is 13W or 14W, though it can also be driven at 16W. At 16W, users can get more pronounced flavor performance.
The tank uses a standard mouth-to-lung airflow design, with slightly more airflow than the T20. It would be even better if the T20S had adjustable airflow.
The built-in 1500mAh battery capacity is enough to meet a full day of use, and users can judge the battery level by the brightness of the indicator light in the center of the fire button.
Users will not encounter e-liquid leakage with the T20S. The previous T20 had leakage issues around the 510 pin, but that problem has now been fixed by changing the airflow structure.
Overall, the EZ Watt is a very meaningful product. Its easy-to-use regulated mod paired with a highly capable mouth-to-lung tank makes it a truly beginner-friendly device. Its simple operating logic makes it almost foolproof, and the tank performs well without e-liquid overflow or dry hits. For that reason, the EZ Watt kit is well worth considering for every beginner, and it is also suitable for experienced users looking for a simple and user-friendly device.
