Entering the vaping scene for two months, e-liquid is a big issue. Domestic e-liquids are acceptable, but reliable imported e-liquids are better, primarily for safety and reliability. The profit margins on e-liquids are high, and the competition is fierce, with mutual slander among peers. High-selling low-priced e-liquids have long been criticized, and some so-called imported e-liquids are just average, expensive, and hard to vape, yet they are overly glorified. Ultimately, it is the novice vapers who get hurt. Where can you reliably buy e-liquid and find genuine products?
Many players, especially new ones, encounter the first problem of e-liquid, including issues of consumption, vapor production, flavor, and most importantly, the authenticity of the e-liquid.
Regarding the authenticity of e-liquids, I believe many have read numerous articles about genuine and counterfeit e-liquids and have browsed various forums and posts. Below, I will share my insights; these opinions are for reference only.
Genuine and counterfeit e-liquids are, strictly speaking, two different types of liquids. I have tried quite a few counterfeit e-liquids, and while they are counterfeit, they are not harmful to the body, except for those unscrupulous manufacturers using random flavorings to make the liquid, which is a big trap.
The main difference is the flavor. Although many counterfeit e-liquids are very similar in taste to genuine ones, there are still differences that can only be detected by careful tasting. This requires a relatively sensitive palate. When we get genuine e-liquids, we often feel that they taste different from what we had before; this is due to palate fatigue. You can switch to other e-liquids before trying the genuine and counterfeit ones side by side to discover the essential differences. Counterfeit e-liquids cannot fully replicate the aroma of genuine e-liquids because each manufacturer uses different ratios and types of flavorings. If an e-liquid manufacturer could perfectly mimic the same flavoring and ratios, they might as well create their own liquid. Additionally, using different atomizers, resistances, and wattages will also result in different flavor experiences.
Counterfeit e-liquids will definitely have noticeable differences in taste. People's taste buds cannot be deceived.
Take the popular e-liquid "Little Green Man" as an example. The authenticity can also be identified from the appearance, as the packaging batches may differ. Each packaging batch of e-liquid may vary, so when you buy an old package, you need to be careful in distinguishing it. Counterfeits cannot keep up with the manufacturer's changes due to high costs, so you understand. Also, the color of the e-liquid can clearly distinguish authenticity.
Price cannot be used to determine the authenticity of e-liquids; many believe that higher-priced e-liquids are genuine, but low-priced ones might actually be genuine. Therefore, never use price to judge genuine and counterfeit e-liquids.
The safest way is to buy a trial version and compare it with your original e-liquid; if it feels right, then make a purchase. This is my usual approach.
The above methods are for reference only; I am not particularly professional and only write this based on my experience. Of course, regarding where to reliably buy e-liquid and find genuine products, I cannot recommend too explicitly. I suggest buying from the JD flagship store, checking the company's background and qualifications, such as whether the e-liquid has food-grade safety certifications and whether the vaping devices have passed safety inspections. These are important to research; money is in your hands, and you cannot be careless when buying e-liquids, which are consumables!
