At the end of 2017, the electronic cigarette forum 17vape collaborated with Maiweipu to produce an RDA atomizer named Panda, which, like China's national treasure, the panda, is visually stunning and captivating.
Let’s explore it together, shall we? Packaging The unique bamboo tube-shaped packaging perfectly matches the atomizer's name, PANDA.
Next, we see the top side printed with a large gear pattern, accompanied by the product name and manufacturer "MODVAPE"!
Here’s a suggestion: in future product packaging designs, consider incorporating elements from 17VAPE, as it also reflects the hard work of the team, right?
Product List Opening the small black barrel reveals a white inner packaging, with the simple black and white color scheme reinforcing the panda theme.
The contents are very simple: one atomizer, a Chinese instruction manual, and a bag of accessories (O-rings, spare screws).
However, upon opening the packaging, the atomizer's diameter is nearly the same as the protective hole in the inner packaging, making it somewhat difficult to remove. The manufacturer might be hinting that once you take it out, you should just keep using it and not put it back.Panda Drip Atomizer Review Atomizer Appearance Two words: exquisite.
The stainless steel plating process combined with exquisite engraving makes the entire appearance stunning, with regular diamond-shaped lines enhancing the three-dimensional feel of the atomizer cover, looking elegant and neat.
The top features a 510 upward hook-style drip tip, making the atomizer appear more integrated. The logo in the center of the atomizer resembles a fierce warrior wearing a steel helmet.
Removing the outer cover can be a bit challenging, especially when pulling it off; you must be careful with the force and angle, or you might accidentally damage the cotton shape at the bottom edge of the cover, leading to frequent adjustments or even needing to replace the cotton, which can be quite frustrating, and the O-ring may start to deform.
What catches the eye is the classic structure of the centrally positioned airflow, similar to certain other designs, but the PANDA RDA features a large oval airflow hole, unlike other atomizers with independent column structures. I wonder if this design represents something unique, hmm, the shape of a kidney! You can interpret that as you wish!
Atomizer Base The entire base is plated with gold, which not only enhances conductivity but also elevates the atomizer's quality, achieving two goals at once.
The product name and other text on the bottom of the atomizer are embossed in metal, giving it a very high-quality feel. Although the bottom is not often exposed, it’s definitely impressive to show off the atomizer by rotating it upside down when necessary.
Electrode Post The design of the electrode post is very simple, but as the saying goes, simplicity is not simple.
The electrode post is the core part of the atomizer; a manufacturer that can design such an impressive appearance surely wouldn’t neglect the core design, right?
After careful examination, I found that the details and layout of the entire base are indeed very clever.
The four electrode posts are very convenient for wicking.
The side airflow holes are also quite large, providing ample airflow, designed for producing large clouds.
Take a look at the wicking holes on the electrode posts; their size can accommodate most of the fancy wires available on the market.
Moreover, the highlight of the electrode post is the wicking hole, which has a 30° angle. When wicking, the two heating wires are inserted at an angle, enhancing the wicking space, making it very easy to cut the wire and adjust the position of the heating wire without any hassle.Panda Drip Atomizer Review Electrode Base The atomizer adopts a bottom airflow design, with two side airflow holes guiding air to the center of the atomizer base, enhancing airflow concentration, resulting in larger and denser clouds, while also improving flavor details and heat dissipation.
Experience Experience Device VGOD Mechanical Mod Dual Clapton 0.16 ohm resistance The vapor production is astonishing; you will feel the vapor pressing against you, swirling in your mouth.
In terms of flavor, it’s quite similar to being fully open; after all, the e-liquid restoration is already quite good, but the cooling sensation is amplified, and the vapor can feel a bit hot after the third puff, making it hard to take continuous puffs.
However, in a partially open airflow state, an unfriendly situation arises: there is a loud whistling sound when inhaling. This issue has been mentioned by many users, and I believe it is related to the airflow holes and the central airflow outlet.
To explain, the whistling sound is caused by air vibrations.
1. In a fully open state, the airflow is massive, and as it passes through the airflow channel, the airflow is full, with no gaps, resulting in a low vibration frequency, directly blowing from the central airflow outlet to the heating wire, hence producing a low-pitched sound, which is quieter.
2. In a half-open or one-third open state, the airflow is reduced, but the size of the central airflow outlet remains unchanged, leading to unstable airflow, which creates high-frequency vibrations in the atomization chamber, resulting in a high-pitched sound, which is louder.
This situation can be likened to a windy day; if a window is slightly ajar, the wind will create a sharp whistling sound due to high-frequency vibrations, while opening the window fully will lower the vibration frequency, resulting in a thicker sound.
Summary There is a line in "Kung Fu Panda":
If you want to be different, believe that you are different, and you will be different.
It may sound a bit convoluted, but being different isn’t that hard; all you need is a Panda atomizer, and the massive vapor production can make you stand out instantly. There is no perfect atomizer, only those that are constantly improving. I hope MODVAPE and the team will consider user feedback more in their future optimizations, turning the PANDA RDA into a top-tier drip atomizer!#p#分页标题#e#
