US Scientists Find E-Cigarettes May Be Highly Toxic and Could Trigger Asthma
American scientists have found that e-cigarettes may be highly toxic, particularly referring to flavoring agents, which are known to add special flavors to the vapor. Scientists believe that the most dangerous aspect is the mixture of different flavors, which, while filling different components, also promotes the catalytic process of pollutants. Researchers at the West Virginia Cancer Institute concluded in their recent study that the filling components of e-cigarettes are highly toxic.

Here, experts refer to flavoring agents, which are known to add special flavors to the vapor. Scientists believe that the most dangerous aspect is the mixture of different flavors. While filling different components, it also promotes the catalytic process of pollutants. This substance does not bring any health benefits, only harm.

Scientists have published their findings in the journal Tobacco Control.

"It has been proven that any filler has the potential to produce toxic substances, and we advise caution in their use. Currently, we have not conducted large-scale studies," said one of the study's authors, Maciej Kaniecki.

Scientists extracted several brands of fillers and vaporized them in an "e-cigarette" laboratory. The resulting smoke was processed into cellular microorganisms.

Scientists pointed out that inhaling this substance can lead to breathing difficulties and may further lead to asthma and other serious respiratory diseases in the future.

Experts recommend conducting detailed studies on the composition of filling materials.
