Petri DOT BOX 300W Regulated Box Mod Review

Most people probably know Petri to some extent by now. From the first- and second-generation Petri RDA to the current limited-edition V3; from standard 22mm mechanical mods to 24mm versions and even diamond-studded limited editions, the brand has consiste

Everyone should have some understanding of "Petri". From the first and second generations of Petri oil-dripping atomizers to the current limited edition V3; from the ordinary 22mm diameter mechanical mod to the 24mm diameter mechanical mod, and even the limited edition diamond-studded mechanical mod. All of these have been proclaiming its unshakable status. Now, Petri can no longer contain its "excited" heart and has extended its "claws" to oil storage atomizers and regulated box mods. The Petri DIY oil storage atomizer, Petri finished atomizer, Petri 75W regulated box, and Petri 300W regulated box are all new devices launched this year. Today, I want to share with you the Petri 300W regulated box. The main character today is the DOTbox300W device, which I will review. The appearance of the DOTbox electronic cigarette is extremely imposing, with impeccable paintwork and a very smooth feel, making it easy to use. So let's take a detailed look at the DOTbox300W device review.

Petri officially claims its nearly perfect craftsmanship, and the DOT BOX is no exception. When held in hand, its size does not make it difficult for users with smaller hands to "grasp". The sides have been deeply processed, with smooth and ergonomic curves. Petri DOT BOX 300W regulated box review     The paint finish of the DOT BOX uses anodizing technology, which prevents random paint peeling and gives it a smoother feel. Speaking of the issue of bumps and scratches, if you don't intentionally hit it hard, the paint will not easily come off. Of course, if you use the box to crack walnuts, sorry, no matter how good the craftsmanship, paint peeling and dents are unavoidable.     The DOT BOX logo is quite interesting. Friends who have paid attention to the Petri 200W box should know that its logo uses a silver-plated inlay, satisfying users' "high-end" psychology. However, the 300W box does not continue this design but instead uses laser engraving. Although this approach reduces the "high-end" feel, it significantly increases the smooth overall effect and user-friendliness.     The buttons are a highlight that players greatly admire. All three buttons are gold-plated, preventing paint peeling and oxidation. The fire button is engraved with the Petri "family crest" logo. This rare design breaks traditional concepts, incorporating classical beauty and elevating its "high-end" feel once again.     Below the plus and minus buttons is a USB port that can be charged using an Android data cable. The button's rebound force is relatively weak, with no "clicking" sound. However, this design should significantly increase its lifespan, saving the hassle of frequently replacing buttons. Players also found that the DOT BOX does not exhibit "edge firing" issues, indicating that the internal button is quite large.     Although the screen is not particularly large, it is sufficient for users to observe their data. The Petri 300W data occupies nearly 95% of the screen, maximizing screen usage without causing any blurriness to the naked eye.     The 510 connector features adaptive elastic electrodes, with both the electrodes and the connector being gold-plated. The connector is relatively small but does not hinder compatibility with various atomizers. From the image, you can also see a nut that secures the 510 connector. If the connector becomes loose, it can be adjusted by the user, preparing it for compatibility with more atomizers.     Previously observed USB data cables were all standard Android cables. However, Petri has managed to include an Apple charging head as well. This makes it convenient to carry, allowing you to charge both the device and Apple devices, which is a unique design.     The bottom of the device is designed with heat dissipation holes. The bottom features the DOT BOX's unique "ID number", which matches the ID number inside the packaging.     Under the back cover, there is a very small groove for easy removal of the back cover. The back cover and the device each have two strong magnets for attachment, yet there is no sign of looseness. The back cover fits tightly with the device, and unless you look closely, you won't see any gaps.     Including friends of players, when they first saw it, they couldn't find that small groove and mistakenly thought it couldn't be opened.     The moment the back cover is opened, I felt a bit disappointed. The internal wiring, cough, is really a bit... not so pretty. If it were BMI, at least there would be a paper card to cover it, haha.     No joke. The internal design is indeed a bit "rough", which might be a rough beauty that players cannot comprehend. The built-in battery can actually be removed by unplugging it to replace it with the same model battery. However, players have no research on the quality of the replacement built-in battery, so it's still not embarrassing. But the 1300mAh capacity is sufficient for players to use continuously without frequent charging.   #p#分页标题#e#Petri DOT BOX 300W regulated box review Press the switch five times to turn it on. After powering on, it displays "dot mod 300W"; when shutting down, it shows "system (followed by the name of the mode used before shutdown)". The DOT BOX has five main options: "PW", "BP", "TC", "SYSTEM", and "EXIT".     POWER MODE refers to the power mode. It can adjust power from 5-300W, with adjustments in 1W increments.     TC MODE refers to the temperature control mode, which has three mode options: "NI200", "TI", and "SS316".     BP MODE refers to the bypass mechanical mode.     SYSTEM mode should be the control mode, which is divided into six small modes.     SCREEN allows for screen orientation rotation.     COUNT records the number of puffs and total puff time (S).     STAND-BY should be the standby time control, with options for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and never standby.     TEMP COMP is for temperature control compensation.     SENSITIVITY adjusts the device's sensitivity.     UPDATE LINK has not yet been discovered for its function; it may not only allow for language localization but also prepare for future upgrades.     Press four times to lock the plus and minus buttons to prevent accidental changes.     In terms of usage, the DOT BOX's explosive effect is quite impressive. Compared to other regulated devices, its explosive power is also quite good, with few rivals under 100W. However, at 150W, I don't know if it's due to insufficient battery power, but the explosive force seems a bit "hesitant".     Petri's delay speed from 0W-70W, although a bit slow, is still within an acceptable range. If the delay force of this chip is proportional to the explosive force, then this device is truly a gem in the hands of high-end players!     In bypass mechanical mode, the explosive force far exceeds that of some mainstream regulated boxes and even some semi-mechanical regulated boxes known for their explosive power. In terms of battery life, it can go several days without charging, which is very acceptable. However, in terms of delay, each device has its own design. Petri DOT BOX 300W regulated box review Petri DOT BOX 300W regulated box review     Summary:     Overall, this is a usable box. Due to the presence of the 1300mAh battery, the box is slightly larger, but the edge design makes the actual visual effect more coordinated, and the presence of the Petri family coating further enhances the feel.     In terms of performance, the ignition delay is not noticeable, and the performance in the 150W-200W range in Power mode is much more solid and rapid than that of the so-called ant box, with the 150W performance exceeding that of the R150 by a considerable margin. The BP mode with the same atomizer produces slightly more vapor than the Meteor V2 mod and the Petri V2 mod.     For the "DOT BOX" regulated mod produced by Petri, it may take a long time to describe it in words. However, players still have high expectations for good devices.
