2016 E-Cigarette Industry Influencer Rankings Announced: Weiwei and Guardian Wen Take the Lead
The first issue of the 2016 E-Cigarette Industry Influencer Rankings, organized by the Electronic Cigarette Information Network and co-organized by Electronic Cigarette Online, has been announced. In this list, Weiwei and Guardian Wen lead, with Zhang Peichen from Xinjiang in third place.

On July 27, Beijing time, it was reported that the first issue of the 2016 E-Cigarette Industry Influencer Rankings has been released. In this list, Weiwei and Guardian Wen dominate with overwhelming advantages of 34,538 votes and 25,313 votes, respectively, while Zhang Peichen ranks third with 3,736 votes.
The rankings of the first issue of the E-Cigarette Industry Influencer Rankings are based on the voting data from netizens for qualified e-cigarette enthusiasts. From July 14 to July 25, over 12 days, the voting page maintained a high view count. As time went on, the votes for e-cigarette influencers also doubled daily, indicating that this event was well recognized and welcomed by everyone.
As the champion of the first issue of the E-Cigarette Industry Influencer Rankings, Weiwei is truly deserving of the title. He has worked as a model and has played minor roles in film crews. By day, he is a mysterious market researcher, and by night, he transforms into a big chimney, active in the vaping community, puffing wherever he goes. He claims to have many hobbies, including VAPE big clouds, cars, travel, and his biggest hobby, “showing off.” He is a person who does not sweat the small stuff. Weiwei has made significant contributions to vaping, writing reviews to guide newcomers to e-cigarettes; DIY e-cigarettes, searching for the most suitable devices and parts; and playing with smoke tricks, not sticking to one lifestyle.

Following closely in second place, Guardian Wen has gained countless female fans during this ranking event. His handsome appearance is undeniable, but his cool videos of smoke tricks are the winning formula that has earned him recognition. Originally planning to quit smoking, he accidentally came across e-cigarettes and saw videos of smoke tricks from abroad. Inspired, he began to truly engage with e-cigarettes, practicing smoke rings while quitting smoking, and ultimately, while losing the pleasure of smoking, he became increasingly interested in the art of vaping. He practices diligently every day and has started making videos of smoke rings on Youku. He also has a commendable aspiration: he hopes that more people in China can enjoy smoke tricks like those abroad and even do it better.

Although he received fewer votes than the top two, Zhang Peichen, who ranked third, is also an excellent vaping enthusiast. He enjoys blowing smoke and has opened a vapor shop, often inviting fellow vaping enthusiasts to discuss e-cigarettes. When he blows smoke rings, there is a sense of calm detachment, with the smoke rings slowly rising and eventually disappearing into the night.

Although the influencer rankings in the e-cigarette industry have received unanimous recognition from the industry and support from many vaping enthusiasts, some e-cigarette influencers still did not achieve ideal rankings. Compared to the tens of thousands of votes received by Weiwei and Guardian Wen, some “influencers” who are active in various forums and online communities did not make the list. Some players claim they belong to the “hermit” category, and this ranking can recommend others. However, for those influencers who were not recommended, how strong are they really? I believe this is something many vaping enthusiasts want to delve into.
