After the popularity of the Wasp Nano RDA and RDTA, the OUMIER brand has become well-known among players. Recently, OUMIER has brought us their latest VLS Rocket RDA. If the excellent flavor performance was the winning point for the Wasp Nano, this VLS offers even more surprises beyond just flavor performance.
Opening the packaging, inside is an atomizer, a pack of long-haired rabbit cotton, and a accessories bag. The accessories bag includes a T-shaped screwdriver, several O-rings, a bottom-fill screw, four spare coil screws, and a pair of Clapton coils. The manufacturer has been very considerate. Looking at the atomizer, it comes in three colors: gold, white, and black. I have the black one, but personally, I think the gold one looks better. The black paint doesn't seem to be done very well compared to the raw color. Next, let's look at the atomizer's components. It is divided into four parts: the drip tip, the chamber, the coil base, and the electrode base. The coil base and electrode base of this atomizer can be detached, making it easier to install cotton.
The coil screw holes are quite large, allowing for easy installation of any type of wire. This atomizer uses a vertical coil setup, which is quite different from other atomizers. I used a triple-core Clapton with a 0.3mm diameter, 6 wraps, and a dual coil resistance of 0.12. The airflow design is excellent, with reverse airflow that makes the vapor denser and the flavor richer.
I tried it with Lemon Tears, and it fully expressed the lemon flavor, which was very rich and satisfying, without any feeling of emptiness. I opened the airflow completely, and the draw was very comfortable, unlike some atomizers that feel like you're just inhaling air.
When I tried it like a rocket, the vapor shot out impressively. This is a very good atomizer with excellent flavor. For friends who love flavor-focused RDAs, this is your best choice. Thanks to the China Electronic Cigarette Information Network for giving me this opportunity to experience such a great flavor-focused RDA.

OUMIER VLS Rocket RDA
First of all, I would like to thank the China Electronic Cigarette Information Network for giving me the opportunity to participate in the OUMIER VLS Rocket RDA group test. Without further ado, I will now show you the details of this atomizer.
Opening the packaging and the internal accessories, I received a silver atomizer.
The appearance of this atomizer is quite standard, with nothing particularly outstanding. Inside, there is a pack of trial cotton, a pair of wires, a bottom-fill screw, a three-column screwdriver, and O-rings.
Upon opening the atomizer, the overall design of the upper coil column resembles a rocket launch pad. The base can be unscrewed from the upper coil platform, revealing a large space for cotton, and you can see that there is also some space for storing e-liquid connected to the positive and negative terminals. However, I noticed a problem: the base and upper coil platform screw in a counter-clockwise direction, while the atomizer connects to the box in a clockwise direction, which can lead to the upper coil platform loosening when the atomizer is tightened. Players who like to screw tightly may find it difficult to secure both ends properly.
Next, let's look at how to install the coils. This atomizer indeed has high playability, as the shape of the two electrode columns allows for a lot of creativity. For example, you can connect a single coil to the lower two electrode columns, or arrange dual coils vertically, or even use some oddly shaped wires. I found that the distance between the coil platforms is slightly small when using 3.0mm diameter wires, so I recommend using 2.5mm diameter wires instead. Now, I will demonstrate how to install dual coils vertically and test the flavor and performance of the atomizer.
I used the included dual-core Clapton with a 3.0mm diameter, five wraps, and a dual coil resistance of 0.2 at 65W.
First, installing the coils is very convenient, as the distance between the two electrode columns is not very large. During use, I aligned the airflow holes with the side holes of the electrode columns, and the draw resistance was a bit high. I then directed the airflow straight at the heating wire, and I found the draw resistance acceptable. I really like the drip tip; it’s very comfortable, and the vertical heating wire completely avoids the issue of leaking e-liquid, providing a smooth flavor with a moderate vapor temperature. I tested several e-liquids, and those with more complex flavors, like berry blends, didn't have the same level of refinement, but the flavor was very full. Simpler, lighter flavors were very satisfying to vape, and the best-performing liquid was lemon passionfruit, which had a less intense flavor but provided a cooling effect. The vapor production isn't very large, which is somewhat related to the smaller internal space.
Overall, this atomizer has a very high level of playability, but I don't recommend using it on a mod. During my use, I often encountered issues with the box not recognizing the atomizer and jumping resistance. The flavor is still quite good, and I recommend using 2.5mm diameter wires to explore various setups!
Finally, I would like to thank the China Electronic Cigarette Information Network for giving me the opportunity to participate in this group test. I wish the China Electronic Cigarette Information Network continued success!

I received the OUMIER VLS Rocket RDA vertical atomizer, and initially, its vertical feature impressed me. However, since many reviews have already discussed this, I decided to try the atomizer's various functions using a single coil in a traditional manner.
During use, we can find that although the VLS supports single and dual coil configurations, due to the relatively large size of the atomizer, the inhalation experience with a single coil inevitably has some emptiness. Therefore, I recommend players to use dual coils in the VLS.
For players who have installed vertical coils on other atomizers, they may encounter difficulties in fixing the coils and installing cotton. However, with the VLS, players will find that making vertical coils is surprisingly easy—players just need to place the wire legs in the slots of the electrode columns and tighten the screws to secure the coils perfectly, requiring no special skills. Thanks to the detachable electrode design (the electrode base has a reverse thread design), users can remove the electrode columns to install cotton, making the experience very user-friendly. After using the VLS, you might even think that it is an atomizer specifically designed for vertical coils, with horizontal coil installation being merely an additional feature. However, players need to pay attention to the diameter of the coils when making vertical coils; if the diameter is too large, the gap between the two electrode columns and the coil may become too tight.
The outer chamber of the atomizer has five small downward-angled airflow holes on each side. By rotating the outer chamber, you can adjust the position of the airflow holes, allowing for direct airflow to the heating wire whether using vertical or horizontal coils.
The inhalation experience with the VLS is completely different from the dense airflow experience of the Wasp Nano. In the VLS, players can enjoy the smooth vapor experience brought by dual coils and sufficient airflow (although the airflow holes are small, the design of ten airflow holes on both sides still provides ample airflow), and the direct airflow to the heating wire ensures that the atomizer's flavor performance is on par with other devices in the same class.
It is evident that OUMIER has invested a lot of effort into the design of the VLS, and the innovative base design indeed enhances the user experience significantly. If you are hesitant to try making vertical coils or have not encountered a new device that piques your curiosity for a long time, consider this VLS Rocket RDA; I believe it will provide you with a satisfying answer.
I wonder if this original wire has any special materials added, as it ignites quickly and evenly, and the heat dissipation is also excellent.
For cotton, I used the included long-haired rabbit cotton. There is one issue: because I cut it to a general length, I later found that this atomizer can really be used as a juice reservoir. The internal space is quite large, with a deep groove at the bottom.
Due to my coil structure, the ignition doesn't look very aggressive.
In summary, its dual coil performance has already gained recognition, and it is highly playable. This time I used a single coil mainly to see its flavor performance and overall capability. Due to the large internal space, using a single coil can feel a bit empty, which may dilute the flavor of the e-liquid, but the draw resistance is very comfortable, and it is much better than many atomizers that claim to be flavor-focused single coils. Again, I recommend everyone to try dual coils to experience its powerful and rich vapor. Thank you to the China Electronic Cigarette Information Network for the opportunity to review this; this is my first time writing, so please bear with me. #p#分页标题#e#
