Today, we bring you the Mad Dog RDA, which is quite a common dripping atomizer on the market and is also the best choice for beginners entering the dripping field.

Why am I so confident to use the word "best"? Let's take a closer look at the introduction of the Mad Dog, and I believe you will also agree with this "best" label.

    Packaging and Appearance:

The package includes all items, besides the atomizer body, it also contains 4 flat screws, 4 cross screws, an Allen wrench, and a full set of spare rubber rings.

The Mad Dog comes in five colors: red, black, gold, blue, and green. The color aspect is indisputable, but beauty is subjective. Moreover, the cover can be changed.

Mad Dog RDA Review     Let's analyze from top to bottom, starting with the drip tip. The Mad Dog uses an imported PEI material drip tip, which is standard for high temperature resistance and wear resistance, plus a design for a condensation return groove, which is a thoughtful detail that many dripping atomizers tend to overlook.

The edge features the stylish and elegant Desire brand logo, adding a finishing touch.

Now, let's look at the cover.

The cover is made of aviation aluminum with sandblasted oxidation. The advantage of aluminum is its quick heat dissipation, although it also heats up quickly. However, the sandblasted oxidation process gives it a very smooth feel, comparable to the back of an iPhone 6 or 7. It's hard to put down.

Those familiar with the NEW BEAST should know that the color produced by this process is not easy to fade, as the color is part of the metal itself.

With a diameter of 24mm, it fits well with many boxes and even sticks without looking out of place. The angled design gives a good reason for the large color difference in the drip tip.

    Atomizer Structure:

Opening the cover, we can see that the Mad Dog uses a dual-post four-hole electrode design. One thing I am very satisfied with is that the Mad Dog comes with multiple sets of screws, including flat, cross, and Allen screws, meeting any user's needs. The electrode posts also feature the Mad Dog logo for anti-counterfeiting and aesthetics.

The four-hole split structure makes it extremely easy to wick, even beginners can handle it with ease. The 2mm wicking holes can easily accommodate various wires; I just want to say, these holes are ridiculously wide!!!

The most noteworthy feature is its airflow inlet, located at the lower middle of the atomizer, using a sloped airflow mode. To be precise, it mimics bottom-side sloped airflow, and I must tell you that bottom airflow directly blowing on the heating wire results in a particularly rich flavor.

The electrode posts also adopt a post-edge design, allowing more cotton to be placed easily. The depth of the base is very user-friendly, using bacon cotton, any cut of cotton can fit in, and the oil storage capacity has significantly improved compared to other atomizers. I can only say that I believe most people will appreciate this detail!

The lower part of the base uses a dual O-ring anti-slip method, and the detail of preventing oil leakage is also well thought out. Looking further down, there is a super large PEI gasket that effectively isolates heat from the device during use, greatly enhancing the user experience and safety.

Now, let's take a look at the electrode side.

Mad Dog RDA Review     The oversized Mad Dog logo, serial number, and simple labels are all present. The adjustable negative post is also a thoughtful design, making it one of the few detailed designs on the market, which is commendable!

The brass electrode ensures efficient conductivity, which guarantees its explosive power and is one of the key reasons it qualifies as a competition-grade atomizer.

    Performance:

    Let's wick it up!

    Using 0.5 (0.6) A1 wire, 5 (6) wraps, and a 3.0 diameter, all common data perform well.

Various wires are also easily handled.

    Mad Dog RDA review experience:

First, I used it with the Tesla 120W Time Gear box, dual coil 0.08 ohm resistance dual-core Clapton, at 75W the vapor is large but the flavor is a bit hollow, deep lung hits perform well. Increasing the power to 120W, the aroma of apple ice e-liquid can be distinctly experienced.

The hits are rich and the vapor increases significantly, leaving me wanting more, but the flavor complexity and resolution are not as good as at 75W.

Other boxes I have cannot support resistances below 0.1 ohm, so I went straight to a stick, using a fully charged Tesiyi 45A battery, the first hit gives a deep sense of satisfaction, with large vapor and a full flavor. With the right coil combination, the Mad Dog, when paired with various wires, has virtually no drawbacks except for a slight increase in e-liquid consumption.

    Mad Dog RDA review summary:

The Mad Dog RDA has a very beautiful appearance, and due to the thoughtful design of the drip tip condensation return groove, there was no occurrence of drawing in condensation during use. The aluminum outer chamber has excellent heat dissipation, and even with a low resistance of 0.08 ohms, continuous hits do not feel noticeably hot. #p#分页标题#e#
