According to news from Chinese e-cigarette sources, a set of data from the National Tobacco Company (NTC) shows that the global consumption of traditional shisha tobacco reaches 279,000 tons annually, with the Middle East accounting for 200,000 tons, Asia 35,000 tons, Russia 20,000 tons, Europe 12,000 tons, South America 10,000 tons, and the United States 2,000 tons.
Shisha and electronic shisha expert Muhammad Badawi stated that the amount used for shisha each time is only a few grams, but the annual consumption still reaches tens of thousands of tons, indicating the vastness of the shisha industry. Furthermore, with the increasing efforts to control smoking, the electronic shisha market will gain higher market recognition.
