Canadian Vaporizer Distributor Namaste Technologies Reports 531% Growth in Website Traffic
Vancouver, British Columbia - (Newsfile Corp. - August 18, 2016) - Namaste Technologies, an emerging leader in the vaporizer and accessories space, reported a staggering 531% increase in website traffic, from 42,353 in April to 267,144 in July. Management attributes this growth to the recent acquisition of VaporSeller and enhanced digital marketing strategies.
This rapid growth positions Namaste to achieve its short-term goal of becoming the largest retail e-commerce company in its space and actively seeks to expand its global market through acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
The company has invested significant resources into improving its flagship website, increasing the domain authority of its UK domain. As a result, the domain authority has risen from 21 to 41, now placing Namaste among the top ten in global vaporizer sales, based on this important metric.
With over 30 e-commerce retail stores in 20 countries, targeting both medical and recreational herbal consumers, the company currently offers the widest range of branded vaporizer products in the market.
According to Wells Fargo research, the global market for vapor products is expected to exceed $2 billion by 2014.
The company launched VASTrader (www.VASTrader.com), a marketplace for trading previously owned vaporizers, and introduced the Groovy Vapes app, available on Google Play and the Apple Store, for vaporizer purchases.
Sean Dollinger, CEO, stated: "Almost a year ago, we began transforming Namaste into a publicly traded company, leveraging our e-commerce, engineering, and financial expertise to capture significant market share in the vaporizer space. With our acquisition of Vaporseller and our investments in technology, the company is now positioned to become a dominant industry consolidator. I am also pleased to report that our application for listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange's Venture Exchange has been submitted and will be processed in the coming weeks."
