VOOPOO TOO mod review

  Today, we are going to share the latest dual-battery mod from VOOPOO, the TOO.

  VOOPOO has had a breakout year, introducing the classic DRAG and ALPHA ONE mods, with their official GENE chip significantly improving ignition speed and operational convenience.
  Without further ado, let's introduce today's star, the TOO.   First, let's talk about the packaging. It follows VOOPOO's consistent style, but this time the cover prominently displays the mod's image for clarity. The packaging also states "CHANGE FOR YOU," indicating changes made for the users. The back of the packaging is labeled in Chinese with the core technology of the TOO, and it includes warnings, anti-counterfeiting codes, and the official website. The side also indicates the color of the mod's panel, and the interior still uses a black box packaging, which I won't elaborate on further.
  Upon opening the packaging, the TOO mod is clearly visible inside, along with a data cable, a bilingual manual, and a small chip card.
  The overall appearance of the mod is diamond-shaped, with rounded corners. Although the mod is relatively large, it feels very comfortable to hold. The top features a standard 510 connector, and the threading is very smooth.
  The two images show that whether for larger male hands or smaller female hands, this mod can be comfortably grasped.

  Of course, the 0.01-second rapid ignition is also a consistent tradition of VOOPOO.
  The latest technology brought by the TOO mod is the switch between single and dual battery modes, with single battery at 80W and dual battery at 180W. The batteries are loaded one on each side, with the battery compartments labeled A and B. If you only install the battery in compartment A, it operates in single battery 80W mode. When both batteries are installed in compartments A and B, it operates in dual battery 180W mode.
  The two side panels of the battery compartment use a sliding buckle structure with strong magnets, providing a strong overall adhesion. However, due to the sliding design, the side panels may have slight looseness, but it does not affect daily use. Notably, this panel design allows you to change the panel color at any time; currently, the official offers four colors.
  Now, after all this, the most concerning aspect is the performance of the mod. The TOO uses the GENE chip, which has once again improved ignition speed to 0.01 seconds. Other aspects are not too different from the previous DRAG and ALPHA ONE mods; specific parameters can be seen in the image below.
  Regarding the operation of the chip, GENE maintains the user-friendly operation style of the previous two mods. Pressing the fire button five times turns the device on/off, pressing it three times switches the temperature control power mode, and long-pressing the up button and fire button locks the mod. Long-pressing the up and down buttons enters the secondary menu. Additionally, when reattaching the atomizer, it automatically recommends wattage.
  When you select YES, it defaults to the recommended wattage.
  The secondary menu is also very simple and clear. It is worth noting that this time, the TOO has added a soft mode for some flavor-oriented atomizers, removing the original super and love modes. In the curve mode interface, pressing the fire button four times allows you to enter the custom interface, making operation very convenient; I won't demonstrate it here.
  Finally, let's summarize.
1. Although the device is relatively large, it feels comfortable to hold. However, the overall mod is somewhat heavy, which is a personal choice for each user.
2. The buttons are comfortable, with great force and rebound, but the + and - buttons feel a bit soft and have some looseness.
3. The ignition speed has once again broken through to 0.01 seconds, and a soft mode has been set for users to choose.
