AMO Vaping Device Review: In 2018, the e-cigarette market saw two popular trends, one being small devices and the other being low-temperature tobacco. Today, we will review the AMO low-temperature non-combustion e-cigarette.
1. Packaging
The white box has the product name and a photo of the device on the front, adorned with a blue butterfly pattern, giving it a clean and serene look.
The back features the model and contents; mine is the white device.
Upon opening the lid, the charging case and device come into view.
The package includes: the device, charging case, a multilingual manual in Chinese, charging cable, cleaning stick, and cleaning tools.
2. Product Showcase
The device has a white body, with a gold line on the switch button and top cover, making it look beautiful, and the case is also white.
The bottom of the device has charging contacts, and the bottom of the case has the charging port.
The top of the device is where the tobacco stick is placed, and the charging port for the device is on the case.

3. User Experience
I borrowed a pack of tobacco sticks from a friend, which he said were brought back by his younger relative from abroad as a gift. As a trade, I gave him a pack of Marlboro that my younger relative brought back for me from abroad, as he smokes both low-temperature tobacco and traditional cigarettes, while I do not smoke traditional cigarettes.
Pressing the switch for three seconds starts the red and white flashing to heat up; after about ten seconds, it vibrates once, and you can start smoking. This tobacco stick is grape-flavored. I previously used homemade low-temperature tobacco (which is a temperature-controlled mode with an external coil) and found it too cool to handle. Now using AMO, I find the flavor just right, cool but not cold, with a hint of grape flavor and a good tobacco taste. The vapor production is not very large, smaller than traditional cigarettes and small devices.
After about 20 puffs, the device vibrates to indicate it’s almost finished; after two or three more puffs, it stops producing vapor. Taking out the tobacco stick, I can see that the area around the heating element has turned black, while the outer ring remains the original color of the tobacco stick.
The device needs to be charged after each use before it can be used again. I feel that AMO's low-temperature tobacco is very similar to IQOS, from the design to the heating element, from the principle to the usage; it has slightly more puffs than IQOS.
4. Overall Evaluation
Highlights:
1. Excellent craftsmanship and beautiful design.
2. Easy to use and portable.
3. Good flavor extraction and moderate puff count.
Overall Evaluation:
AMO low-temperature tobacco is a very standard low-temperature tobacco device, with excellent flavor extraction from the tobacco sticks, balanced flavors, good craftsmanship, and a nice design, making it suitable for daily use.
