A Look Back at Halo Tribeca and Motorcycle Lucky 13 E-Liquids

  Recently, I suddenly felt the urge to buy a long-lost flavor, which is HALO Tribeca. This e-liquid has a history and has always been a top choice, known for its cost-effectiveness, quality, and flavor, receiving high praise. The flavor is more suited for those looking to quit smoking, with a conservative taste profile leaning towards tobacco and coffee... Imagine suddenly giving an old smoker a puff of berry ice cream; they would definitely say: what a sour and terrible flavor... Because those trying to quit smoking are solely focused on tobacco products that resemble traditional cigarettes, let alone tasting e-liquids.

HALO offers a wide variety of flavors, among which the most popular are Tribeca, 15 Menthol, and Absolute Zero. Tribeca and 15 Menthol are both tobacco flavors, each with a very unique taste, while Absolute Zero is pure mint, similar to the current super ice flavors. Personally, I use Absolute Zero to mix with other flavors. I also enjoy the mocha coffee flavor, but it can get a bit overwhelming if vaped too much; the aroma and authenticity of the coffee are fantastic!

When I first received HALO Tribeca, I was struck by the exquisite packaging, exuding a scent that was quite addictive. Upon opening the cap, I was greeted with a roasted tobacco aroma, accompanied by a hint of plastic-like scent, which is so unique. Of course, this is a different concept from real tobacco, so please don't compare cigarettes with e-cigarettes; after all, they are two different products. Anyone claiming that e-cigarettes taste like real cigarettes is lying to you, and let's be honest, e-cigarettes are much more enjoyable to vape!

The Tribeca e-liquid comes in a blue bottle with a white dropper, and the blue flame design gives it a cool vibe. When you press down to open the cap, the dropper has measurements, with each mark representing 0.25ml, providing a clear indication of how much e-liquid you are vaping each day.

Now, let's talk about the flavor: upon opening the bottle, I smell a light sweet aroma, followed by a caramel scent, which I personally love. Caramel macchiato is also one of my favorites. The taste is a sweet caramel mixed with a subtle tobacco flavor, and after a few puffs, it doesn't feel overwhelming. The 3mg nicotine provides just a slight throat hit, and the vapor production is moderate. I mainly use it to quit smoking, so I dilute it with a 2:1 ratio of e-liquid to pure VG, which reduces both nicotine and sweetness, but increases vapor production, enhancing the enjoyment of big clouds.

The initial taste is rich roasted tobacco, with a hint of roasted chicken wing aroma, making me feel hungry every time I vape... This is a flavor-focused e-liquid, so the VG content isn't high; it's not about chasing vapor production but rather about savoring the flavor. The overall taste and throat hit are very satisfying, making the vaping experience much better than smoking.

The rich roasted tobacco flavor is dense, with a noticeable throat hit, and a smooth, full-bodied experience. When exhaling through the nose, the aroma becomes even richer, leaving a lingering aftertaste. This is the unique charm of HALO!

There are indeed many flavors, and this e-liquid is often the first choice for beginners. Due to the equipment and parameter matching issues, the flavor of HALO e-liquids may not be perfectly released. I recommend using a 22mm atomizer with a small airflow for a better flavor experience. Both RTA and RDA can work, but RTA's chamber structure is more concentrated, and the vapor will perform better when compressed. Use a resistance of 0.32-0.5, and a 0.4 wire will suffice, with a diameter of 0.3/6 wraps. Be careful not to heat the wire too quickly. If using a KF5 single-coil tank, the experience will be even better.

The second e-liquid is Motorcycle Series Lucky 13 (Tobacco Gold Award) with 3mg nicotine, using a finished coil with a resistance of 0.5 ohms, powered at 30W.

Lucky 13 features a flat bottle design with sharp edges and a motorcycle logo on the front, giving it a rugged, masculine look. When you press to open the cap, you can smell the perfect combination of roasted almond and caramel aroma (again with the caramel... haha, my favorite)! The sensation upon inhaling is incredibly refreshing, and when exhaling, there's a hint of vanilla flavor along with a subtle tobacco taste, leaving a sweet aftertaste on the tongue. I've heard that vaping this e-liquid while drinking beer is a perfect match. I tried it and can tell fellow vapers who haven't experienced it yet, you must try it; the flavor is simply amazing! The maltiness of the beer combined with the roasted almond and caramel aroma of Lucky 13... I'm in love! I also diluted Lucky 13 with a 2:1 ratio of pure VG to increase vapor production and reduce the e-liquid concentration, which is also a cost-effective way to enjoy it! Haha!!!

Overall, both of these e-liquids are flavors I really enjoy, and they have become my all-day vapes. Now that I've been smoke-free for a month, I only vape e-cigarettes. The smell of burning tobacco now seems very unpleasant to me, just like my non-smoking friends used to say about me, that the smell of smoke on me was awful!
