How Good Is the Popular 4th-Generation IQOS?

I’m not sure how many vaping enthusiasts are out there, but I personally haven’t done that much research on e-cigarettes. Still, lately I’ve become quite interested in the IQOS heated tobacco device.

That’s because its signature feature is heated tobacco, as mentioned earlier. A built-in heater rapidly warms the tobacco sticks to the temperature typically needed for a lit cigarette, so you can still get a similar taste experience. But because there is no combustion, there’s no smoke, which means even if you use it indoors, it won’t create the kind of secondhand smoke that bothers other people. That feels like a very user-friendly feature.

Also, since there’s no secondhand smoke, it doesn’t leave that lingering unpleasant cigarette smell all over your body after use. Even if you sneak a smoke outside, your family might not notice when you get home. If someone smells carefully, they may only notice a faint residual heated smell.

Finally, after buying the IQOS device for the reasons above, I unexpectedly discovered a few nice design touches too. For example, the side of the case opens with just a light press. The device inside won’t fall out, but it’s still easy to remove. And the outer shell can be detached, so if you’re not happy with the color you bought, you can replace it yourself.

So overall, I’m quite satisfied with the IQOS 3.0 version in every respect. If any friends are still hesitating, I’d say there’s no need to overthink it—go ahead and get one. It likely won’t disappoint you.
