Is voice control the next future of vaping devices? I hope not... but iJoy and SMOK apparently think otherwise. Following the previously introduced iJoy Avenger 270 kit, the I-PRIV is also equipped with a unique voice system for vaping devices, designed to free up your hands through voice control. If this were a highly intelligent AI device, it should at least use LED indicators to show whether voice commands are valid. Perhaps SMOK is positioning this product as a starter kit and offering some kind of voice control on/off function.
The SMOK I-PRIV 230W kit is an "Iron Man"-style regulated box mod featuring a high-brightness TFT screen and a voice control system, and it supports three battery types: 21700, 20700, and 18650. It has a power output range of 1-230W and comes paired with the TFV12 Prince sub-ohm tank. This tank uses coil heads with a steel strip heating structure and has an 8ml capacity. It supports power mode, temperature control mode, and memory mode.

Voice control—what do I need you for?
I feel like recent articles have jumped from vaping devices into science fiction, and you can really sense that from the product marketing copy. The SMOK I-PRIV 230W looks like the body of "Iron Man," muscular all over; it can listen to your voice, respond, and carry out your commands. The I-PRIV has a rugged appearance covered in skeletal lines, giving people a sense of being indestructible. Hold it in your hand, and you can feel Iron Man-like superpowers.
Do you really need this device? If you like gimmicks and flashy devices, will this be your thing? I'm not against high-tech products, but this still feels like a completely pointless device. Why put voice control on a regulated box mod? What's wrong with pressing buttons normally? Of course, unless you have vision problems—but SMOK doesn't mention that either.
It is still just a gimmick product, and it certainly will not be cheap. As a reviewer, I can honestly say that human technological progress seems to have reached a bottleneck if products as meaningless as this can make it to market. Maybe it will be a great device—at least its core functions are useful—but it is still just a gimmick product, and it certainly will not be cheap.
Alright, I-PRIV! Instead of charging me for the voice function, just give me some extra replacement coils and some e-liquid I actually like. That would be far more practical and useful to me.
