The previous ZQ vi was quite good, being one of the earlier pod systems on the market with dual power settings. ZQ is a new brand under Eigate [Shenzhen Jiyu Heng Technology Co., Ltd.], fully operated by SKEY, dedicated to continuous research and innovation to meet the diverse needs of vapor enthusiasts and adapt to the ever-changing e-cigarette market. Today, I will share my review of the new high-tech product—ZQ ASSURE pod system!
With its excellent flavor performance and experience, it has gained a following.
I have communicated with Donghai Xue, who is quite fond of ZQvi and has purchased many pods, but unfortunately, some pods have leaked, and I hope quality control can be improved.
Not long after, ZQ released this assure model, and after trying it, I really like it.

The front of the packaging is very simple and elegant, continuing the style of ZQvi.
The back features bilingual information in Chinese and English, providing detailed product information.
All kinds of labels, QR codes, and anti-counterfeiting codes are complete.
This is a pod system produced by Eigate, which makes me look forward to it even more.
The inner layer is a nice wooden box packaging.
Inside the package, besides the main device, there are two pods. (I couldn’t resist and installed a pod as soon as I received it)
There is a note: brand new piston sealing system!
This is quite interesting, as it prevents the e-liquid from contacting the atomizer core when the pod is not installed, reducing the possibility of leakage during transportation.
The package includes everything: the device, pods, charging cable, user manual, certificate of conformity, and warranty card.
The silver-gray device is understated and stable, just the color I like.
There is an indicator light on the upper middle part, and the bottom features the ZQ logo.
The back has a slightly protruding button that needs to be pressed while vaping, unlike most pod systems that use a draw-activated switch.
The overall quality is excellent, and the surface seems to be anodized, making it less prone to fading.
The side has a CE mark, and the charging port is at the bottom of the device.
The overall impression of the pod system is very refined, with a more premium feel than the first-generation ZQvi.
At the bottom of the pod and at the connection with the device, you can see a raised square slot.
This structure pushes the atomizer core into the oil chamber when installing the pod, showcasing a thoughtful design.
We all know that cotton-core atomizers soaked in e-liquid for a long time not only tend to leak but also result in a poor first few puffs.
This small structure effectively solves this problem, which is why the pre-filled pods need to be allowed to saturate for a few minutes after installation.
I personally think this design is great, especially in an era where pod systems are highly homogenized; innovation is always welcome.
Now let’s talk about the pods.
First, the shape of the mouthpiece features a long airway, and the flat design at the top makes the vaping experience very comfortable.
Due to the button-triggered mode, the air intake holes of the pods are designed on the side, eliminating the issue of leakage from the bottom.
I believe many users have encountered the problem of pod leakage from the bottom, which is not a pleasant experience.
Additionally, there was no condensation when using ZQ2!
Among the few pod systems I have used, only RELX and this ZQ AIXIU have no condensation!
That’s impressive! No need to shake or wipe, it feels great.

The most important aspect of a pod system, besides the user experience, is the performance of the e-liquid.
The two pods included in the package are cocoa tobacco and red wine ice.
The cocoa tobacco, when I tried it, is very similar to Halo's 15th generation, feeling very much alike!
The red wine ice is currently the best red wine ice flavor I have tried. (I haven’t tried many)
It is definitely red wine, not grape juice drink.
Every time I get these pre-filled pods, I always have the urge to open them and refill them, and this time is no exception.
Previously, I discussed with two experts, Putin and Li Hai Niao, who disassembled the entire pod to study its structure.
(Putin said the cocoa tobacco has made him addicted, and Li Hai Niao said he couldn’t bear to vape the red wine ice, haha!)
They have already discussed the specifics, so I won’t repeat them.
The atomizer core of this pod is a mini version of the Nautilus core!
The Nautilus is synonymous with flavor in the vaping world!
To this day, the mini Nautilus is still one of my favorite atomizers, which I have been using for years without letting it gather dust.
Being one of the ancient artifacts, the Nautilus must have its reasons for being so popular.
The flavor of the ZQ2 is also as satisfying as the Nautilus, delivering a great experience.
Since it’s a mini version of the Nautilus core, it certainly shouldn’t be discarded after one tank of e-liquid.
I don’t have much research on pods, and I’m quite lazy; I just want to refill a bit of e-liquid. Here’s a photo I casually took.
The manufacturer is very user-friendly towards us users.
In the previous photo, you can see a clip on the side of the pod, which I ruthlessly destroyed.
Thus, it became a top-fill mini atomizer. The next steps are simple.
The cocoa tobacco really resembles the 15th generation too much.
I added 50mg of 15th generation nicotine salt into it. (Please ignore my messy desk)
The draw feels similar to the original pod, and the flavor is excellent, with an enhanced throat hit. Perhaps 35mg is already enough for me.
Eigate’s atomizer cores are really impressive. I can’t complain; I only like them.
Overall, ZQ AIXIU is quite satisfying, with good materials and workmanship.
The flavor performance of the pods is the biggest highlight. I just want to keep vaping, and before I know it, I’m already feeling the buzz...
The piston sealing system is also very innovative.
The 450mAh battery is not enough to last a whole day for me, but the battery life is still quite decent.
The vapor volume is relatively large among pod systems, and the vapor volume decreases as the battery drains.
The oil consumption seems to be faster than ceramic core pod systems; maybe I’m just vaping too hard... I really can’t stop...

After using it for a few days, the condensation handling is excellent, with almost none; it is not recommended to disassemble and rebuild the pods, as I have tried violently disassembling them, and the result was disastrous!!!
Overall, the ZQ ASSURE pod system is easy to operate, stylish in design, with great pod flavor, large vapor volume, excellent condensation handling, and the flavor options should be updated in the future!
