17VAPE x Bruse B17 Mechanical Mod Review
17VAPE and Bruse have collaborated to create the B17 mechanical mod, and here we bring you a review from the Vapor Intelligence Bureau.<\/p>
Today, we present a mechanical mod, a collaborative product from Bruse and 17VAPE, aptly named B17.
Before discussing this mechanical mod, I must first mention these two individuals.
Like many of you, I dislike those shows that focus on "good stories from China" or "the struggles of the Chinese people."
However, the vaping industry is not as superficial yet, so let me briefly introduce these two individuals.
Just imagine two guys, one of whom is a big muscular man, playing with a stick together.
Oh dear... I can't continue... Here’s a picture for you to feel it yourself...
Now, let's get serious.
Bruse (胡子)
Those who are familiar call him Bruse. I believe you are not unfamiliar with him.
His recent products include the Bushido series, armor, Vita lemon tea, and floral grape ice.
Dr. Kidney
(Sorry, I don’t have his photo...)
The founder of 17VAPE, with products like the Mad Dog Beast Box, Mad Dog X Box, and MT.
These are all well-known products, and I believe you have heard of their quality or even tried them. They are indeed quite good products.
So, these two can be considered strong players in the vaping industry, and today’s B17 mechanical mod has also impressed me as an outstanding product.
Let’s start with an overview of the overall material of the mod.
1. Packaging and Appearance
The packaging of the B17 mechanical mod aligns with the bamboo segment design concept, providing high overall integrity while being energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.
The body of the mod features a bamboo segment design with an irregular shape, which is highly challenging to process.
The shape references the COOYOO high-end titanium alloy bamboo flashlight, limited to ten pieces globally.
The bottom of the mechanical mod has an irregular shape treatment, which is very smooth, enhancing the richness of the appearance without affecting the feel of use.
In addition to the bamboo segment design, it also features three small gold beads, two with B17 engraved and one with the bamboo character. This enhances the overall unity while adding a playful element.
2. Body Material
The body of the B17 is made of brass, which is superior to copper, bronze, and stainless steel.
Brass, also known as silver-plated copper, excels in conductivity and oxidation resistance compared to bronze and copper.
Using this material for the mechanical mod significantly improves conductivity and oxidation resistance. In summary, it means less violent issues.
3. Interface and Electrode
The 510 interface is a through structure, which is the most commonly used interface for mechanical mods recently.
The switch ignition part is the highlight of the B17, featuring a spring + quasi-dead link original design switch. The highlight of the switch is that it has two sets of power-on schemes.
The first part is the conventional electrode conductivity, which touches the battery through the bottom electrode. The electrode uses two large gold-plated pieces to increase the conductive area.
The second part is spring conductivity. When the electrode has a low probability of not igniting, a specially made phosphor bronze gold-plated spring will conduct.
This may be a bit difficult to understand, but the result is that this mechanical mod is 100% conductive and will not have contact issues.
It’s equivalent to a dead link.
This design also eliminates the heating issue of the button. Moreover, both the electrode and spring are gold-plated to prevent oxidation and enhance conductivity stability.
Alright, I’ve introduced the entire mechanical mod situation. I believe you now have a direct impression of this product.
Next, let’s summarize and discuss my long-term experience with this mechanical mod.
Overall, the B17 is an excellent and outstanding mechanical mod product.
First:
In terms of appearance, the mechanical mod has stepped out of the safety zone of regular mechanical mods, attempting to create an irregular mechanical mod.
Due to its irregularity, the processing difficulty is understandably high.
In fact, production is indeed quite challenging. Because of its irregularity, it cannot be fixed for processing, which also leads to the concentricity of the 510 interface and the mod body being hard to control.
Thus, every qualified B17 on the market is hard-earned.
Second:
In terms of switch structure, the two ignition systems, one main and one backup, maximize the ignition rate to 100%, providing great convenience during use.
Third:
The bamboo segment design allows for easy gripping of the mod, ensuring it doesn’t slip while igniting.
Finally, the B17 bamboo segment mechanical mod is priced at 690 yuan, which is quite reasonable.
