Fourth-generation IQOS 3.0: continuing the quitting-smoking legend
When it comes to quitting smoking, I am most impressed by IQOS e-cigarettes. I have been smoking for a long time and have tried many e-cigarettes, but the ones I used before could not suppress my cravings. Only with IQOS, after taking a puff, that unbearable feeling subsides, and over time, I gradually put down traditional cigarettes.
The first IQOS I used was the third generation. Because IQOS has relatively low harm, I continued to use it after quitting traditional cigarettes, just controlling the quantity (IQOS is not difficult to control, probably due to its lower nicotine content compared to traditional cigarettes). A few days ago, I heard that the fourth generation was released, so I bought one. The product hasn't arrived yet, but from what I currently know, this update is significant.
First of all, in terms of core technology, it still adheres to the heat-not-burn principle, which is their core technology and an important reason why the IQOS series produces no ash and has lower harm. Therefore, no matter how it evolves, this will not change.
The first change I noticed was in the appearance. In fact, previous generations of IQOS did not differ much in appearance, but this time the casing has undergone many new attempts. For example, the device has a matte finish, making it look smoother and feel better. The heating element's material has also changed to matte, but the biggest change is in its shape; the previous heating element resembled a power bank, being long and rectangular. The fourth generation IQOS 3.0 has the opening set on the side, so one side has an additional part, making it less conventional in shape and adding a lot of technological feel.
The changes in the appearance of the device and heating element bring about significant changes in visual and tactile experiences; the matte material should feel more skin-friendly and give a more premium feel when held.
Additionally, I heard that the cleaning ball has also been improved; the current cleaning ball has better cleaning effects and can reach into some gaps. Cleaning is directly related to the lifespan of the heating element; e-liquid can seep out while using the e-cigarette, and if it accumulates on the heating element for too long, it will erode it. Once the heating element is eroded, the e-cigarette is considered half broken. Therefore, I really appreciate the upgrade of the fourth generation IQOS in this regard, as it provides more product assurance for smokers.
In fact, another reason I insist on choosing IQOS e-cigarettes is its flavor. IQOS e-cigarettes perform very well in terms of flavor; the vapor has a strong presence, and the sensation is very similar to traditional cigarettes. The e-cigarettes I used before cannot compare to it in this aspect.
Therefore, I believe that the fourth generation IQOS will definitely continue the legend of quitting smoking, providing smokers with a better and safer smoking experience.
